One of my favorite places for top notch Asian fusion cuisine restaurants in Montreal. We ordered Ha Gao，Sweet & Spicy Chinese Eggplants, Crispy Tofu , Spicy Salmon Tartare , caramel cake and of course the most tasty cocktails. You can tell the chef is very particular on the freshness of the ingredients. Enjoyed the service and the ambience at this place. I will definitely revisit this little gem next time.

We were excited to try Jatoba for the first time, but were also a bit surprised by the price. The food was good, but considering the cost, it wasn’t anything special. We could have found similar dishes elsewhere for a lot less.

Jatoba has been one of my top 3 restaurants in Montreal for nearly a decade. The sashimi is always top quality, and the chef personally presents the platter — every time. They offer options for various dietary needs, and the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. It’s perfect for date nights, celebrations, girls’ nights out, or business dinners. Beautiful space with lots of plants and cozy sections. Never had a single issue with the food — unlike many other spots in the city. A few steps at the entrance and stairs to the washroom. Valet parking available — a huge plus!

The food was good: the duck fried rice and the mushroom dumplings were excellent, the cumin lamb was extremely spicy, the maki and shrimp dumplings were so so. The restaurant is very noisy which makes it difficult to talk with your friends.
