We booked a Friday night for 6:45pm, the restaurant was full when we arrived and stayed full the entire time we were there. We got a great table in a corner so we did have a bit of a quiet table, which I would say if a premium here. Our server James was amazing. The best way to describe it was subtle. While I have no complaints about having to fill my own water glass, in over two hours, I never had to and I drank two bottles. Genuinely kind service that means a lot.Drinks were made well, and served surprisingly quickly which was miss. A good sync between the bar and kitchens.Highly recommended, the restaurant was very nicely designed, we will return next trip to Montreal.

4.5/5.0 Oysters, short ribs and steak were good, portions were decent for most orders except the fish. The chicken and the bread were underwhelming. The desserts were great! Roughly 80$ per person before drinks, taxes and tips.

We had a reservation for 14 people on April 12th.A very nice welcome upon arrival. We have an aperitif before our 7 p.m. dinner to taste some signature cocktails and a good glass of wine.We chose the group menu to be able to taste several dishes from the menu. All the flavor combinations are really good. My 3 year old daughter even loved her experience and the employees were very kind to us.I recommend the restaurant

Beautiful restaurant and great atmosphere, the windows and the view of the old port is truly unmatched! Actually really good for groups (4-6 people) because you can order a tasting menu and just try a bunch of stuff and it’s delicious! I think it’s a montreal must try!

Excellent food, in a lovely setting. I recommend sitting at the bar, for a different vibe. James was the best host - simply ask for him to pair your food with wine or cocktails and he’ll deliver every time!

I had a wonderful time at jellyfish restaurant. The restaurant has a very unique design, with colorful lights and decorations that create a cozy and romantic atmosphere. It's a perfect place for a special occasion. I tried the New York cut steak, and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The service was on point, and the staff was attentive and courteous. They made sure we had everything we needed, and they even brought us a complimentary dessert. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a special night out. Jellyfish restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Montreal.

Jellyfish impresses with its warm ambiance, remarkable food, and inventive cocktails. The decor sets the stage for a classy dining experience, while the menu showcases the chef's talent through fresh, flavorful dishes and beautifully presented crudo. A must-visit for a top-notch dining experience. 5*

I have been to this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed the experience. This review pertains to my latest Saint Valentine's dinner, but it reflects my past experiences as well. Service, atmosphere and food were excellent. Enough space between tables to allow a bit of privacy. Since service often drives the experience, I will start by complimenting our server who was attentive to our every need. She never appeared rushed and took time to answer all our questions. The sommelier was friendly, unpretentious and knowledgeable, which is a great way to end up with an enjoyable wine experience. Went off the cocktail menu, having a spicy margarita. It was delicious. The wines are reasonably priced as well. The tuna tartare special had little too much grapefruit for my taste, but the fish was fresh and delicious. The juicy and tender 6oz filet mignon was cooked exactly as requested...perfect! The food and drinks are not cheap ; however, I have recently been paying significantly more for lesser experience at some of Montréal's other popular restaurants.
