A essayer.

We have been loyal customers of this welcoming bakery since its opening. Unfortunately, since the founding baker left, the croissants, chocolatines and other pastries, previously the best in the neighborhood, have become bland, dry, lacking butter most of the time. This morning, we felt like we were eating reheated croissants from the day before. This is not the first time that we are very disappointed by the loss of quality of products which have become unstable. It sometimes even happens that the croissants are cooked to the point of being burnt. Brief. We have the feeling that several people are now responsible for cooking or that the same person is in varying moods. A disappointment for the neighborhood!

They have their own special bread signature. I personally love their style. Highlight on the almond croissant, like no one else!

Went in yesterday to buy some croissants and a chestnut bread loaf.Croissants are ok, the bread is good but I asked for it to be sliced and was told they don't have a bread slicer..??

While I'd say that on the balance their bread and pastries are totally forgettable (in fact, maybe they could score some toasted wheat from Le Meunerie Urbaine, and some skanky starter from Automne and then burn everything a bit) - Le Choco Plaisir is a truly wonderful thing - a line up early and get a couple of the half dozen they make per day kind of wonderful thing. My favorite thing for a kilometer. Plus, and this probably means nothing: they have a fine, fine window.

Arrived at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, but it was close. Very disappointed!

I didn't even get a chance to try any of their breads, which I'd actually had been really looking forward to tasting, but unfortunately I didn't buy anything. That's because I was so flabbergasted at how badly one of the servers treated me that I lost all my interests in their baked-goods.I felt terribly unwelcomed and even felt like a huge nuisance to this server. Even before I opened my mouth to say anything at all, she started frowning at me and seemed to be pretty sure that what I was about to say wasn't something she could make out. (for your reference, I'm Asian and only speak English, not much French)If I cut her some slack, she might have waken up in the wrong side of the bed that day. Nonetheless, my point still stands, and regardless of what you're selling, all that matters, at the end of the day, is nice and warm human interaction between customers and servers, in my opinion.
