Good service. Food is also okay. Try the dosas! Affordable. But I've honestly had better Indian food in Montreal.

Most food sucks, specially their curries and chilli chicken. They charge full amount for food which are pre-made (on display), which means you cannot customize. Restaurant owner (an elderly gentleman) has rude behavior. Food is generally overpriced for what it is.

During a MAPAQ visit in September 2023, this restaurant which specializes in good Sri Lankan food failed to keep the premises free of “contaminants, pollutants, all species of animals including insects and rodents, or their excrement. 🤮🤢

Visited Jolee after a long time. They serve Vegetarian South Indian meal on Friday afternoon. The meal was delicious and big enough for a person. The brinjal (egg plant) curry was awesome. The service gentle man was so nice.

If you are into spicy South Indian or Srilankan food, this is a good place to go. Very reasonably priced and moderately done.

Broad variety of very affordable and flavourful sri lankan dishes in an unpretentious and casual setting with friendly service. Can request that the dishes be served spicy hot or mild. Beware that the hot version is above your average north-american spicy so order at your own risk :) Personally, I love it. They also have various south asian sweets and drinks.

Tea is excellent.
However, the Paneer Masala gravy was like a bowl of cooking cream flavoured with spices. That's not masala, it's cooking cream!
While on trip to Montreal, my husband convinced to try something different , he took to me the Jolee, i tried over there Samosa , puri masala and veg kothu roti, everything is so yum and worthy to visit, definitely i found it affordable and plus in terms of quatity , good portion. Really appreciate . Fully satisfied

If i could give 0 for service i would have given. I came into the restaurant for dine in and the staff behind the cabinet has no response. It took them almost 20 min to just come and take order. If there are customers I could understand. And for those 20 min I have been waving my hand to get his attention.
The food is mediocre. I ordered vada sambhar, egg dosa and ghee masala dosa. Sambhar was just water and masala dosa was disgusting. Never coming back again
