it is now 3 AM and I woke up with excruciating stomach pain because of the mussels I ate at this place. They may have been badly uncooked (because either the workers were in a rush or they don't like customers who use spectra discounts).

I am almost thinking of calling an ambulance because the pain was so horrible when I woke up. It decreases ever so slightly when I'm standing, which I'm doing right now and will have to be doing for the next 2 hours.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Their negligence will get you in hospital. They will maybe respond to my comment, but that won't mean anything. workers and chefs will not realistically change their ways just because a random dude complained about a stomach cramp from their uncooked neglected slop.

Phenomenal. These muscles were top notch. Lovely interior design and aesthetic, great to feel warm and cozy amidst the cold. Great chefs, great service. I’ll be revisiting

Beautiful French restaurant in the heart of plateau, with immaculate vibes, refreshing drinks and decadent seafood options. Fries are fresh and crispy.

I’ve ordered moules frites dozens of times in many different restaurants and this was the first time I’ve ever had it served without the cooking liquid. As you can imagine, the mussels got cold and dried out pretty quickly.
The fries were fantastic but overall very disappointed. Cool place for drinks.

There were two of us, and the service was truly attentive. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, with a detailed description of each dish. I ordered the lobster ravioli and the grilled octopus, both of which were incredible. And what can I say about the selection of oysters, apart from their diverse origins and freshness? Incredible! I will gladly return !!!

Masterful work in time/seating accommodation and expo from Hugo - Front of house
The grill is excellent (octopus and flank steak)
Calamari are cut small but seasoned and crispy
Desserts are well made with strong contrasting citrus flavours

Small place, with good food! I had the bavette de boeuf and my wife had the risotto. We both had the salmon tartare for starters. The meals were delicious.

Loved Josephine! Would be perfect for date night. I went alone and sat at the bar on a Friday and it was pretty empty. The fish special was out of this world, and I loved the oysters and the mignonette hot sauce that came with it. You are paying $$$ for not a big portion, just note that. I walked out a little hungry but knew I wanted something lighter. And it is still worth it for the flavors. One of the best meals I have had in Montreal!

Came by myself on a sunny Wednesday around 6pm—place was pretty empty so I got seated and served right away. Drink landed in just a few minutes, and my half seafood platter ($55) was on the table within 15. I also had their tequila cocktail ($16), which was a solid pairing.

The oysters were fresh and really good, though I wish there was more than one sauce option—they only serve them with a homemade jalapeño mignonette, which isn’t my favorite. But then came the shrimp... absolutely insane. Easily the best shrimp I’ve had in recent memory. The salmon gravlax was super fresh, and the tuna tataki was delicious too.

Yeah, it’s a bit pricey, but honestly, the quality of the ingredients makes it worth it.

My first time here and we will be back. We did the set menu for $59 and it was worth every cent. Service was outstanding and the food matched. Truly a lovely experience.
