Loved Josephine! Would be perfect for date night. I went alone and sat at the bar on a Friday and it was pretty empty. The fish special was out of this world, and I loved the oysters and the mignonette hot sauce that came with it. You are paying $$$ for not a big portion, just note that. I walked out a little hungry but knew I wanted something lighter. And it is still worth it for the flavors. One of the best meals I have had in Montreal!
Came by myself on a sunny Wednesday around 6pm—place was pretty empty so I got seated and served right away. Drink landed in just a few minutes, and my half seafood platter ($55) was on the table within 15. I also had their tequila cocktail ($16), which was a solid pairing.
The oysters were fresh and really good, though I wish there was more than one sauce option—they only serve them with a homemade jalapeño mignonette, which isn’t my favorite. But then...

We just love Josephine’s. Such wonderful attentive staff. Great summer terrace. Delicious food! Must try the zucchini appetizer
