We had an amazing dinner and the service was excellent. Shout out to the staff for providing a great vibe, experience and the chefs for the recipes they have developed!

I wasn’t impressed, especially after being told it’s the best sushi in Montreal. Some rolls were good, but others were quite bland. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I expected better quality and taste for the price.

It was said the best sushi restaurant in Montreal. We visited tonight and confirmed it’s one of the best in Canada!

Let me just say WOW WOW WOW. I cannot understand some of these reviews. Jun I is an experience, so yes you are going to pay a lot but try finding sushi this good anywhere else. Truly the best sushi I have ever had…. Hands down. Also, the best miso soup in the city!

If I could give negative stars I would. The service was beyond terrible. We waited 40+ minutes for 2 miso soups, then another 20 for a cod dish. Everyone else around us received kind treatment, and some were even handed hand towels upon their arrival. The other customers had finished their meals and moved onto desserts, even though some of them arrived after we did. When asked about how much time it would take, our server, who was rude to us the entire night, proceeded to lecture us about the ethics of the restaurant, claiming that “if we wanted to eat something quick we should go somewhere else.” So that was exactly what we did. No matter how fancy or special a place is, a customer will always remember bad service.

Loved my experience here! Some of the sashimis we tried were amazing, and the nigiris were just as good. Everything was super delicious overall.

Ordered the Omakase. Absolutely exquisitely prepared - with close attention to detail. Fish was beautifully selected and complimented each other perfectly. Accompanying courses are seasonal so coming back is always fun.

Order as you will, everything is good.
For drinks, I can recommend the sakura sour cocktail.

We ordered the omakase at $120 per person and left very underwhelmed. Three out of four appetizers were small shared plates that just didn’t impress. One of them, the octopus, amounted to just three very thin slices total each.

We were told the omakase included 15 pieces of sushi each, but what arrived was a shared platter with two of each piece and one roll of five, which doesn’t even divide evenly for two people.

For the price, the portions and overall taste were disappointing. Dessert was a single, tiny tart. I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but I would’ve maybe preferred to stick to the à la carte menu. We spent $400 for omakase for 2, one of the cheapest bottle of wine and tip.
