The food was good, scoring an 3 out of 5, but the service quality deeply disappointed me. Previously, this establishment was known for its excellent service, but it's no longer the same. Our waiter was impatient, barely taking the time to explain the menu or recommend top dishes, simply reading off the menu instead. Moreover, when we were ready to pay, he rudely interrupted our conversation and was almost aggressive towards my partner. We won't be returning; it's not worth our money.

For the price, the food is not good. Our first warning was that there was no client seating at a sushi bar.My husband grew up in Japan so this was a huge flag. But this isn't Japan, so we sat down with an open mind.Second warning was the rolls (mostly futomaki) with things in them that shouldn't be in sushi/maki. Strange local toppings like tempura flakes. Overall everything was very bland and unremarkable compared any lower end sushi place in Montreal.Unfortunately the quality of this restaurant did not significantly exceed local sushi take away prices, but the price was almost exponentially more. The rice is meh, the fish tiny and meh, and some even tasted old. I believe we ordered the prix fix, so it wasn't a cheap, lower end menu option.I do not recommend.

The service was incredible, Eric is a great waiter. The atmosphere as well, but there is too much tempura in the b52 and dynamite. Although, the funny maki is amazing!

This is by far the best sushi restaurant in Montreal. The food is always excellent and so is the service. Our favorite server Simon, always welcomes us with open arms and offers the best personalized service! He always recommends new dishes to us and we are never disappointed!

Such great food and service! This was a dinner date/surprise for me and I was thrilled with the experience. It's small and intimate, but service is quick and attentive. The sushi was incredible and it was quite affordable for al a cart or tasting menu options and a great selection of unique dishes as well.Dietary restrictions: They were great about accommodating a shellfish allergy

Exquisite and quality food! Unfortunately, a big downside in terms of service which was not up to standard for this type of establishment.

My husband and I got the omakase for two. We enjoyed our time and food, but if we were to return in the future, I think we would order sushi off the regular menu. Most of the omakase dishes were good, but a few too many of them were just 'okay' for our liking. Nonetheless, we are huge sushi fans and we enjoyed our time.

I highly recommend the omakase. Very nice dining experience. The assortment of dishes is very well chosen and the taste of each dish is excellent. We have adored.Dietary restrictions: For severe peanut allergies, all dishes are peanut-free and safe

It’s probably the worst restaurant I have very been to . The owner is EXTREMELY rude , canceled our reservation without permission to give to other people probably his friend and said that we canceled it . We drove 2 hours to get there for nothing . After telling our friends about the experience they said they even got food poising from the place and they had called back to the restaurant but the staff didn’t acknowledge this and pretended like it wasn’t their fault it’s “ probably something else you ate” my friend went there on empty stomach , he owns an auto shop and he said that was his first meal of the day and he was starving so he ate a lot ... the sickness took three days to fix . Avoid this restaurant AT ALL COST ! If you want sushi in Montreal , there are other places to try . ... eg : OKenya , hidden fish , RYU ETC.. many other great choices !

We go there every time we come to Montreal, high-level cuisine and impeccable service. The room is relatively small and can be quite noisy when all the tables are occupied, which in no way detracts from the pleasure of tasting the refined cuisine of this establishment.
