Always a guaranteed, fun Monday night. One of my favs:)
The food was delicious. Best Filipino restaurant I’ve tried in Montreal. Staff was friendly. Would go back. The server mentioned they also own JunJun (another restaurant near this) so will check that out too!
First time trying filipino food. Tried the fried fish, eggplant dip, fried pork belly, pork sisig and seafood pancit. The dishes were certainly interesting and unique but there was always something a bit off for each dish: pork sisig was a bit too salty to our taste but complimented well with rice; fried fish and fried pork belly lacked a bit of flavor/salt. Glad we tried, but we might try other dishes next time.
Got takeout from Junior Filipino and it was a great experience! The service was quick and friendly, and the food hit the spot. I had the lechonsilog — crispy lechon, garlic rice, and egg — and it was absolutely delicious. Flavorful, filling, and well-prepared. Definitely coming back to try more dishes!
I visited Junior Restaurant last night, and it’s hands-down the best Filipino restaurant I’ve ever tried! The vibe is amazing, especially on Mondays with their old-school DJ spinning great tunes. Highly recommend for awesome food and a lively atmosphere!
Would not recommend delivery.
Although the food did arrive quickly, the food was incomplete.
The Seafood Palabok was missing the calamari and shrimp chicharons. The egg wasn't a hard boiled sliced egg, it was a soft boiled egg with uncooked egg white.
The junior bee, spaghetti was good, the chicken was overcooked like it was tossed back in the fryer after sitting all night, it was dry and burnt.
I wanted this to be good, I'm a sucker for Filipino spaghetti..... Would I reorder. Maybe. The spaghetti was good, everything else lacked care and wasn't worth the money.
My fried rice lechon dish was so tasty I wanted to do another round. Great music (obviously, JoJo), awesome vibes.
overall great, but the dish had too much fatty pork. drinks are good I don't want
Thank you :)
Absolutely unique and delicious. Best spicy margarita by far.

The food is excellent and so is the service. However, it was very noisy and there weren't many tables.

Went for a group birthday dinner and had the kamayan feast (traditional Filipino group dinner). We were a bit disappointed that we couldn't have it served on banana leaves, as it normally is and shown on photos from the restaurant. But, the food was fantastic. We were given plenty of food and a number of different options, each of them was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also well done.

If you sit at the farthest back table near the kitchen, you can see the ceiling fan rotating in your spoon. It’s hypnotizing
The place was nice, the service was good.
Lighting was good, but the food was a bit of a miss
Lechon kawali- meat to fat ratio is like 1:3
Good crackling but still lacks the crunch around the rest of the pieces
Lumpia- good amount of pieces. Flavor was there a bit dry, sauce helped with the dryness
Sisig- good but was lacking acid aside from the lime that was given.
Bicol express- we ordered the pork but was served the chicken, chicken is battered and fried.
Presentation wise, looks good, but the chicken was dry. Wish we had the pork.
Sauce is very thin, making batter soggy.
Usually bicol express is creamy and thick. It's was a good interpretation of bicol express but I would prefer the the thicker stew like version.
Flavors were lacking
