Used to love this place but it's closed now. Now a bahn mi restaurant :(
I used to love this place, but it closed down, my heart broke a little. Goodbye Kafein and thank you for many years of good food and drink.
The sandwiches are great. Good study spot for students
This place has a good chicken sandwich and lemonade. It is in a convenient location if you want to grab a quick bite downtown. The coffee there is okay, but I wouldn't say it's this place's forte. The service is variable, excellent at times and abysmal at others. This place can also get a little stuffy when it gets crowded.
Nice quiet place to grab a coffee and get some work done. Having two floors is great for spending longer time there so you can sit and enjoy yourself. Also I love the fact that they give you a coffee in an actual mug! less waste, but just a important, it doesn't give you the impression that they want to just give you a coffee and kick you out the door.
Nice place to go to , Prices are affordable . the staff are friendly , good level of people around you. good WIFI , taste of drinks are good .
Cute little spot to study, the playlist was great and the whole vibe was nice. Some Funny stuff like the comically short tables kinda hindered the experience, but the rest was good. They host a lot of event so it is a good idea to keep up to date on what's happening there. Overall i would recommend
Discovered this place because of the Barista Passport I got. Cool atmosphere, good place to do work, and they make good coffee
absolutely incredible food and drinks, great ambiance, but the young gentleman who served me was genuinely just rude and condescending. we get it, you work at a super cool coffee spot, my job is super cool too, but it's still the service industry and a little warmth couldn't hurt.
Very cozy and some amazing coffee and snacks. A lot of outlets for you to do your work.

I love how Kafein has evolved over years, while staying true to its core. Kafein has been my go to place for many years - as I wore many hats over time, student, staff, student and staff member now again at Concordia. In the last year, they have been hit with the impact of construction on Bishop so I try to go there for lunch and coffee breaks as often as possible. I especially love their soups, teas and almond milk lattes. At night, downstairs transforms into a great spots for dates - drinks, grooves and spoken words. Maybe I will see you there next!
The poetry night was amazing. Some amazing support and feelings in a safe space. The ambience downstairs is nice and cozy.
I love this place! The staff are super friendly and great to chat with, the drinks are always perfectly made and the grilled cheese is amaaaaazing. It's a good spot to bring a group as there is usually seating available and the atmosphere is really chill.
Student affordable meals and drinks, nice hidden place to go and study or work.
A bit pricey, but you know that going in. Tasty baked goods, good smoothies and coffee. A good place to study, though there should be more electrical plugs. Try the lemon ginger smoothie.
