It’s my 2nd time to eat here. The first time, I ordered the Goto heaven & a takeout of the Crispy Sisig. The 2nd time, I ordered the Goto hell & a take out of the Maskara or the Crispy pork head. This restaurant offers authentic Filipino dishes but with a twist. I find their food to be good, very filling & not boring at all. In my personal opinion, the reason why we are all dining/eating outside is because we want to eat & try food that we don’t cook at home.We want to see & experience culinary dishes out of the ordinary, otherwise dining will be a dull & boring moment for everyone. I find this restaurant very inventive, giving a fun flare & twist to Filipino cuisine. The place is averagely presentable given that it’s located in Van Horne or Cote des Neiges area. It’s better than most Filipino restaurants in the area that looked like warehouses instead of restaurants (which means that those stacked up pile of food & beverage boxes are a soar in the diner’s eyes).

First time at this Filipino restaurant, and definitely won’t be the last!!! We were looking specifically for silog and this place did not disappoint — it is available all day! We got a tosilog and a sizzling bangus sisig, and the food came fresh, hot, and delicious. They even gave a bowl of sinigang broth as an appetizer! Service is friendly and the soft rock playing in the background is authentic to a typical Pinoy diner ? We’ll be back!

Filipino cuisine, homey and small restaurant.Goti regular: rice porridge that tastes pretty bland, literally tastes like rice and water, no salt. The only flavors come from the meats (organ, hard-boiled egg, lechon), but it's not enough. The portion is big though.Sizzling lechon kawali: the lechon is crispy but again, no seasonning, not even salt. The flavor mainly comes from the gravy that aslo keeps the lechon from being too dry. The java rice is well cooked, but not seasonned.Pancit (large): This is a very good portion to share between two or more people. It was for the best dish and it's also my favorite dish in any filipino restaurant. There is a variety of toppings that comes with the noodles. Love it. Highly recommend this dish.Pork bbq: pork meat grilled on skewers that have a sweet marinade and comesnwoth a sour sayce that pairs really well with it. The meat is juicy and fatty, cooked with the perfect amount of char for that smokey flavor.Overall, they serve pretty good portions here, but some dishes don't taste much. The onlt dish I do recommend is the pork bbq and the pancit.

If you're craving authentic filipino food, this is the best place to go to. Their crispy mascara, crispy sisig ad sizzling tofu is for the win.

Came here with my family today. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The restaurant rock-type ambience, catering to OPM enthusiasts sets a unique & inviting tone. However, cleanliness issues were noticeable with dusty floors, fixtures, lights and ceiling fans. The lingering scent of oil/food also affects the overall experience. We ordered Lechon Kawali, browned to perfection - just the perfect amount of fat from the meat has been rendered, a plus. And though having the classic flavours, lacked salt - The Mang Tomas dipping sauce somewhat compensated. The vegetable side seemed inedible and was just in the plate for aesthetic purposes? An Achara would have been a welcomed addition to balance the dish.As for the Crispy Pata, it showcased a satisfying texture but struggled with tough outer layer on the meat, and two variants of dipping sauce lacked depth. The $50+ price tag left a mixed impression on the overall value.

I am not really familiar with Filipino dishes so wasn’t really sure to order. The woman working there was so kind and patient with us. She gave us so many great suggestions! We ordered the pork skewers which were my favorite. It was sweet, smokey and salty. The dipping sauce gave it some acidity. So delicious! We also ordered the fish sisig and fried pork head which were also yummy. I would definitely recommend the skewers and sisig. I will come again to try their soups!
