Amazing and authentic Japanese food experience! Great service and homey comfortable feel the place. I highly recommend the gyoza which felt fresh and are the best I have had in a long time, the yaki-udon was delicious and a very generous portion, the matcha cheesecake was a rich and tasty way to end this meal. I would recommend making a reservation as it was pretty busy and we happened to get an empty table just in time. Will be coming back!
(There was also a decent vegetarian section in the menu for those who prefer the option)

One of, if not the best Japanese meal I have ever had in my life. Everything was perfectly flavored, the fish was very fresh, the Wakame was delicious. Our server was the nicest woman, and the space is peaceful and charming. 10/10!

This place is so cute! An absolute gem in NDG. It is decorated so nicely, full of culture (according to my partner), the waiter is so nice. I am not a fan of the sushi they serve though, the soy sauce was too salty and the wine was not good, do not order the house wine. The miso soup was good, I will perhaps give it another chance by ordering other dishes instead of sushi. It is also pricey.

I discovered a pretty good Japanese restaurant near the udem area. The sashimi didn’t have any fishy taste and was reasonably priced. It’s not super fancy, but the value for money is great.

I love this place! The fish and vegetable soup is savory with natural flavours. Sashimi quality is excellent. There's a wide variety of authentic Japanese dishes. I order delivery and they always write nice words on the bag, which makes me feel very special. It's obvious that this establishement is passionate about what they do. You can feel and taste the love that goes into each dish. I highly recommend! I appreciate you! ?

What a great experience we had at Karin. The place is really nice with seating separated so that you almost have your own little private corner and we loved the decor. We tried the Shrimp Tempura and the Salmon Teriyaki and both were excellent. Great presentation and just the right batter on the shrimp. The service was also just amazing, so friendly, you can really tell that they love what they do. There were so many other items on the menu, we will have to return soon to try more.

Came in for the first time and was greeted by very warm and welcoming service. Not only was the food excellently prepared, they are very generous with the portion size. Don’t be intimidated by the prices as you will be leaving with full stomachs.
