The single best Japanese food restaurant I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is amazing, cute decor made by the grandparents of the server, few tables which makes it feel all the cozier. The food is exceptional in every manner, some of the freshest sushi I’ve ever had. The server is the sweetest woman I’ve ever met, so kind she remembered us every time we’ve been. Any rating below 4 stars is just disingenuous. Forever our go to for any occasion.

The food was awful. No taste expensive & didn't have the proper Japanese sauces. They should have had sesame & ginger to start. The miso soup had no taste. Beef teriyaki was supposed to be marinated & sizzling. The plate was not sizzling when it came & the beef had no taste. We asked for teriyaki sauce which was too bitter. We had the green tea cookie. I asked if it was baked & the waitress said yes. But it came cold. I'm used to getting them moist & warm straight from the oven. This was cold. We had Gaza. Not much taste either. It was very disappointing. Not returning

Ordered a delivery. Portions of sushi rolls, kimchi and agadashi tofu are too small for the price
Cute truly authentic Japanese/Korean restaurant providing superbly fresh and tasty food for a reasonable price in a lovely homey Japanese decor.
We had the tempura and some Maki rolls. I was impressed at the quality of the ingredients and the rice.
Will come back to eat more and try the Korean meals.

Another late review. Better late than never! What a fantastic surprise to find a great Japanese restaurant in Montreal. This is a family business; the people running it come from the same household. The owner was so lovely and friendly! We came here twice while staying in Montreal because we loved the food. Everything we had was so delicious! We had tempura, poke bowl, sonomono, sushi combo, vegetable yaki soba, bento box, and probably a bit more that I can't remember. I loved how they prepared the sonomono, even the tempura was well prepared using real Japanese ingredients. Yaki soba had the taste of Japanese spices. Best sushi in town! Please visit and try their food because it was excellent! The place is cute and successfully decorated with a Japanese-style design. We saw a lot of pretty items from Japan. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended!

I went a couple times over the years and I'm never disappointed. I come from French Polynesia and my standards of fresh fish is pretty high and the Tuna (and all sashimis they serve), is on par with what I grew up with.
Definitely one my fevorite restaurant. You also have some separated spaces for small or bigger groups which adds a little bit of intimacy and I really like it.
Awesome place. You got the blessing from a South Pacific Islander, so go!

Been coming here for years! Since my early young college years all the way to my adulting years. Still fantastic and consistent. Sushi is fresh. Love the sashimi. Other dishes here are good too. Best to reserve! I like my service here either way though, the staff here are wonderful. Atmosphere is cozy and presentable.
Everything was delicious and the owner was very friendly. Highly recommend!
We had a reservation for a group of six and they rapidly took care of our table! This little place is a family business.
-They food is absolutely delicious! Their menu has many options as well as full courses for larger groups.
-The service was impeccable. The lady taking care of our orders was polite and kind.
-They have a diverse selection of drinks and sake.
-The pricing is reasonable depending on what you order. The full course might seem expensive, but you get your money's worth of content!
I would recommend making a reservation here if you want to spend some good time with friends or a loved one!
Best authentic Japanese restaurant in the city.
