We had a small party with our group. In the end of the party, the server asked us a fixed percentage of tips and handed us a terminal already put the percentage in saying that we must pay that percentage accroding to the restaurant's regulation on tips. This instantly ruined our pleasant experience at the restaurant. Also, while the staff was friendly, we did not receive exceptional service, just mediocre one because one of us took care of all the miscellaneous arrangements,...
The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, especially the outdoor patio area in the summer. Service was excellent as well. Unfortunately, the food was extremely average despite being quite pricy. Selection was also limited and the portion sizes were small.
Good Japanese food, but more fusion than authentic. On the salty side. Portions were generous, and drinks were tasty. The 7 samurai is a must try, and the matcha cheesecake was a great way to end the meal. Overall good experience!
