We arrived right at opening and were the first customers there. We stood waiting at the entrance for several minutes — said hello out loud — but no one came. After about five minutes, someone finally walked in from outside and casually told us to sit down.
As soon as we sat, we noticed how filthy the floor was, which is unacceptable considering they had just opened. The food was stale, flavorless, and tasted old. To make things even worse, we found a hair in our food. When we showed it to the owner, she completely dismissed it and even tried to make it seem like it was our fault.
Overall, a terrible experience from start to finish. Poor service, unclean environment, and low-quality food. I would highly recommend avoiding this place altogether.

Finally found a replacement for “the kit” from ol’ St Viateur Cafe. It has cretons, bologna, ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, and really good potatoes. Their hot sauce is something special too.

The food was very good & so was the ambience. They refilled your coffee cup & didn’t push you out of the door.
Good potion size and food compared to other L'oeufriers. Service was quick. Ambiance can use a bit of updating.

Incredible food and service. My wife and live nearby and I go there often. The food is consistently tasty, and service is very fast! The owners are very thoughtful and if we ever have issues they are quick to fix them. We will bêle back soon!

The meals are really good and filling…. You won’t need to eat again for the rest of the day. Definitely one of my favourite breakfast
spots.
Went in today, shown to a table for a family of four.
Nobody came back for over 20 minutes to even ask if we wanted coffee.
Went to ask the waitresses if they ever planned to come and see us, sat back down.
Nobody came. Three teenagers all stood around doing not very much. Most of the activity was serving pick-up orders while people who are in the restaurant sit there waiting.
Asked to speak to the manager, he tells me it's very busy. There are at most eight tables of people. He gets annoyed at me. I leave.
I'm not surprised the staff are doing a bad job with the manager having this attitude.
Went up the road to B&M, they had well trained waiters, sat down, wished my wife happy mothers day, do we want coffee, immediately. And better food. No regrets on deciding to leave L'Oeufrier.

The food was delicious! and the service was good, too
Service and food were amazing — we love Rupa!
The service was great, our group loved the atmosphere and the food. Rupa was great!
If I could give 1000 stars I still would give 0.
Just go to NDG Luncheonette in Fielding that’s close by and much better food and service.
At the end of our visit, we were forced to give tip, which is not mandatory…I gave 10% already and because someone in our table did not give she demanded at least 18%, pointing the card machine to us. Totally unacceptable behaviour.

We experienced a completely embarrassing and unnecessary situation.
My family and I went to the restaurant as usual since we live on the same street and we always go there for our Sunday brunch. However, today, due to an error during payment, one of the invoices did not select the option to leave a tip. The waitress was extremely rude, shouting at us in front of all the other tables to ask why there was no tip. Everyone turned to see what was happening, and faced with this uncomfortable situation, I asked her if tipping was not optional... She replied that it was optional, but that they had to pay 10 % to the government??? Which was already included in my bill. She then asked if 18% was okay with us, while entering that amount directly into the machine, forcing us to pay it in a completely forced manner.
To avoid further discomfort, we paid the tip and left the restaurant, completely disappointed and certain that we would not return there again to avoid this kind of situation.
Remember that it was an error in handling the card machine, since for the other bill, we had given a tip and, as usual, we always paid the additional amount on each of our previous visits to this restaurant.
