At the end of our visit, we were forced to give tip, which is not mandatory…I gave 10% already and because someone in our table did not give she demanded at least 18%, pointing the card machine to us. Totally unacceptable behaviour.

We experienced a completely embarrassing and unnecessary situation. My family and I went to the restaurant as usual since we live on the same street and we always go there for our Sunday brunch. However, today, due to an error during payment, one of the invoices did not select the option to leave a tip. The waitress was extremely rude, shouting at us in front of all the other tables to ask why there was no tip. Everyone turned to see what was happening, and faced with this uncomfortable situation, I asked her if tipping was not optional... She replied that it was optional, but that they had to pay 10 % to the government??? Which was already included in my bill. She then asked if 18% was okay with us, while entering that amount directly into the machine, forcing us to pay it in a completely forced manner. To avoid further discomfort, we paid the tip and left the restaurant, completely disappointed and certain that we would not return there again to avoid this kind of situation.
Remember that it was an error in handling the card machine, since for the other bill, we had given a tip and, as usual, we always paid the additional amount on each of our previous visits to this restaurant.

Went for brunch, and I believe my eyes were bigger than my tummy. It was sooooo good. Their Chocolate Raspberry milkshake was decadent lol

Huge portions, great staff, and good variety of food options. The meals that were served were delicious and seriously huge. For me, enough for 3 breakfasts. Don't let the pictures fool you, the meal portion is much larger than it looks.

Second time in so I have given it a chance Its a breakfast place, so Saturday and Sunday are their prime time game on moments. The service is ok but the kitchen is way behind. I ordered 2 eggs over easy , bacon brown toast....pretty simple order ...my son ordered scrambled eggs and pancakes. Our orders show up...my plate is scrambled eggs sausage, white toast...my sons order had no pancakes....it took 45 minutes to get a wrong order !!. When I went to the counter it was mass confusion from kitchen. Orders all screwed up . I turned my order down , my teenage son took his but at this point we were late and had to leave so he had a few bites. Waitress staff are trying but kitchen is clearly the problem. As I mentioned 2nd time there and last time. There are just so many better options. Orange Cafe on Decarie and Chez Nick on Greene ave to name but a few. Probably during the weekdays when its quiet they can handle it but on a weekend forget it. Two stars is a fair grade ...the kitchen and management need to fix the issues .

I recently visited this restaurant and had an excellent experience. The food was delicious, and the service was impressively fast. The chef was incredibly accommodating, making improvements to the food as requested. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a great dining experience!

We just had breakfast here. The service is slow and terrible. The food ordinary. The dry toast never came. The pancakes tasted like vinegar.
If I could give 1000 stars I still would give 0.
