I had a amazing time at La Cantina $3 tequila shots had me wobbly all night a great place to pre before a night out the food was amazing very authentic and the staff member was very attentive and always topped us up when needed i highly recommend and very affordable

The food is amazing. A bit pricy but very filling. Had the shrimp tacos and my fiend has the fish. Both were fantastic. The churros were warm and fresh. Service can be slow when they're busy but they try very hard. Would recommend and return.

Extremely Poor Service and Bland Food - A Disappointing Experience The service here was verging on hostile. Our waitress was cold, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. When our meals came out piecemeal, I had to chase down the missing items. The waitress's reaction to my simple request was a snobbish and dismissive glare, which is simply unacceptable. As for the food, it was genuinely disappointing. The dishes were completely bland and tasteless. We had to drown the food in spicy sauce just to make it edible, purely to satisfy our hunger. Do not waste your money here.

As regular guests at La Cantina, we always appreciate the friendly staff and relaxed ambiance. The food is consistently good although the quesadilla dish is a bit meager — a small quesadilla with no sides, so you must order salsa or beans, etc. It would be amazing is they would add fried veggie tacos to the menu. Our server, Gigi, was absolutely fantastic. This is a solid neighborhood restaurant.

I’m a celiac and my boyfriend and I were excited to eat here during our trip to Montreal. The website said the churros were gluten free. After eating one, we asked the server and said they were in fact not gluten free. I showed her the website menu and she was quite rude and said that was “not their menu” when it clearly was on their official website menu.

I tried the mushrooms quesadillas. For the price I expected a bit more food. The plate seemed very empty and it just tested like grilled cheese with beans. I paid 21$ for this plate with tax and tip. I’d add at least some salad or tortilla chips. There are almost no sauce too.
