La Classe in Montréal is a culinary gem, offering a sophisticated dining experience complemented by impeccable service. The well-presented staff adds to the refined atmosphere, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to excellence. Culinary masterpieces, beautifully presented and crafted with precision, showcase a dedication to quality ingredients. The staff's knowledge and passion for gastronomy, along with their warm and personalized service, create a luxurious yet welcoming ambiance. From the moment you enter to the last delightful bite, La Classe earns its well-deserved five-star rating, making it a standout in Montréal's dining scene. They also had made a dish on the house for my daughter, a very kind gesture.

I LOVE this place, but for the love of God, please come up with a schedule. I am so tired of calling with no response, and getting there and there is no one, or its just completely closed. So much gas wasted, I live an hour away!! :((((

Everyone was very friendly.Otherwise.. just, an odd experience overall. Wasn't sure what I was supporting... student chefs are practicing their cooking skills, and their finished products aren't wasted by being served to paying customers? If that's the goal, then I'm glad I could support not wasting of food, and the education/practice of learning chefs. But just how everything was done... like the utensils being used to serve the food by the chefs/students, unpredictable portions being served, how things were served on plates where certain things would have a lot of liquid so it would mix with other food on you plate (ex. Mediterranean salad liquid mixing w/ the shrimp salad, salmon, etc.. and the food itself.. just not really inspiring. Kind of felt like basic recipes, no surprises or twists. Salmon was bit overcooked/dry. Gravy/Au Jus wasn't great. Desserts were.. awful. Panna cotta did not set at all, so it was soupy. Something (w/ apricot?) on a sponge cake, my wife thought it was a joke because of how hard the sponge part was.. Banana foster, not good. Decor was... Idk I guess I was expecting different based on google/website pictures. Kind of felt/ was like a small cafeteria in the basement of a corporate office building. No diet soda available. Seemed like noone was there to really take charge, students were just not trying to mess up serving the food.Kind of pricey for what it was, I think it came out to $70-something for two people for dinner, with 2 cappuccinos... in theory not expensive at all for a dinner (that was supposed to be a 3-course but was changed to a "buffet" on arrival), but for the actual food that was served and how it was served and the overall ambiance.. my wife and I regretted coming here as part of our 4 day trip to Montreal. But, very friendly student chefs/workers. Easy to book online and find the building. Still happy to support young people working on culinary careers.

This is a restaurant not to be missed. Food was excellent. The head chef ,who is the head professor was informative and very cordial. The students are the workers. They are closely supervised and the food is prepared with great detail. The atmosphere is ok but considering everything it was very enjoyable.

The environment is quiet and the service is very good. Thanks to la Classe , my friend and I enjoyed the meal. The orange flavor of the appetizer was a bit strong and overpowered the duck, and the arugula was the finishing touch. I really, really enjoyed the passion fruit dessert, it was really good!

I will give 4 stars for this restaurant which cooked by chef students. They made a pretty good job on all the dishes what I had. The whole experience was excellent. I highly recommended this restaurant to encourage the students (who would love to become a kitchen chef in the futur). And the price is ridiculously super affordable!!!!

We were a table of 5 and we were so lucky to get a reservation. Food was excellent and we were so happy to see fancy ingredients on the menu: sea bass, chanterelle, scallops, etc. The presentation was so creative. My favorite dish was the beef tartare, absolutely a delight served with hazelnuts and a poached quail egg. Excellent service by all the staff. They are so professional you wouldn't even know they were students! Can't wait to come back!!
