A marvelous scene that makes you plunge into North African culture right after you step inside. It's a country inhabiting a restaurant. Very generous portions too! It's also so special to see how the chef/owner himself greets you and tells what he has cooked for the day. This authentic contact with the patrons is really difficult to find these days. Absolutely recommend it! They also have the apportez votre vin option!

I walked in and was greeted warmly right away. I asked the chef if I could get served food within 10 minutes because I was in a rush, and he smiled and reassured me it’ll be ready in 1 minute. He told me the options. I picked the vegan vegetables and couscous. It was ready in 1 minute like he said and tasted great and the portion was really decent. The sitting areas were relaxing, beautiful and spacious. He checked on me to make sure I was happy... Thank you !

The decor transports you to a totally different world, so warm and welcoming. The lentil soup was perfect, tasty and a little filling. The main dish (chicken and olive stew on top of couscous and beef and date stew on top of couscous) were so filling and freshly made. Absolutely worth it. 5/5 for everything. Loved it. Also, the service was super fast, we were served within 10 min and I’m so glad because I was starving and left satisfied

Amazingly delicious food, the staff and the chef are super friendly, they explained the menu without us having to ask and they really made us feel welcomed. The vibe is cozy and very chill. We will definitely come back!

The food and service were absolutely incredible! This place deserves a way higher rating. We got the course meal with lentil soup and then a mixture of chicken & olives, beef cooked with dates & raisins, and lastly a vegetarian option (carrots, zucchini, tomato, onion, chickpeas) all on top of flavourful couscous. Afterwards, we were served mint tea (sweetened). Everything was delicious! The owner (i presume) always came to check up on us to see if we enjoyed the food.

Absolute gem! La Khaima cuisine has a limited selection of items to chose from in the menu. Each item we ordered were absolutely delightful and tasted authentic. Best lentil soup and mint tea I've ever had.

Shout out to the owner that made our group feel welcome while visiting over the long weekend. He not only made our experience in Montreal unforgettable, but also offered incredible insight to the bagels through his baking background. Highly recommend visiting.

Wonderful dinner experience. Got the family style platter with assorted proteins. Came with lentil soup and a sweet mint tea at the end of the night. Great vibes. Make sure to wear socks as everyone took their shoes off in the dining room.

Absolutely amazing experience, gentleman who runs the restaurant was an absolute pleasure to deal with, offers gluten free and vegan options for his meals. Some of the best gf couscous I've ever had.
