The sandwiches here are delicious, but they are on the expensive side - with a drink and a tip it will come to just over 20 dollars. The coffee is below average but costs the same better- brewed coffee in this neighbourhood. The staff are polite and friendly, but the service is frustratingly slow by times. They used to take orders at the counter and run the orders to the tables- they now offer (require) table-service for dine-in customers, but they are not yet well equipped to offer service in this way. I find it slows things down even more for customers, as my understanding is that customers must first alert staff to their presence by waiting at the counter. Today I left after waiting ten minutes at my table for somebody to take my order. It was not exceptionally busy.

A very whimsical and cozy place where in summer, you can enjoy a seat outdoors with a very decent cup of coffee (only 3 milk options), homemade baked goods, sandwiches, soup, salads, chilli and more. Sometimes they have gluten-free, vegan options. The only thing is they don’t have their lunch “service” figured out too well. Those who wish to order to-go and those who take a seat to dine in and those who wait at the door to be assigned a seat. No direction given which often leads to chaos of some being served immediately and others having to wait over 35 minutes before even spoken to hence, my rating. The staff is pleasant and kind and seem to enjoy working here. Some really care about their customers too which is refreshing. So, the only thing that would make this gorgeous gem take a step up in its category , I would personally suggest, is for the management giving clear directions when it comes to the client service during lunch to not raise any further people complain as I have witnessed during my time spent there.Otherwise, I recommend 100%.

We were really looking for a brunch but stumbled on La Luncheonette so in we went. It's friendly and cosy, and a popular local cafe. We had a couple of coffees, a couple of BLT croissants and a scone. Everything was fine but didn't really do what we wanted, but that was our problem. Anyway, it's a perfect place for a coffee and snack!

My favorite neighborhood spot since I moved to St Henri almost 3 years ago :) Staff is nice and the food is delicious. I like to bring friends and family here and they fall in love with it as well. In the winter, the interior is so cozy and in the summer they have a cute patio! An overall charming atmosphere.

Absolutely love this gem in the neighborhood! This place has become my absolute favorite, offering a delectable array of dishes, including fantastic vegetarian and vegan options. The cozy ambiance adds an extra layer of comfort to the experience (with a backyard terrasse during the summer). My go-to choice is their grilled cheese with caramelized onions. And, oh, the cake of the day is a delightful touch – whether it's the rum cake or the cinnamon and chocolate cake, I can never resist. What truly sets this place apart is the warm and welcoming staff. They are not only friendly but go out of their way to make you feel at home. As a parent, it's incredibly reassuring to find a baby-friendly spot, complete with high chairs and a patient and accommodating atmosphere. I frequently bring my little one along, and the staff and fellow clients alike make it a stress-free experience. The prices are very fair (and taxes are included!).I recommend it warmly for those looking for a comfortable dining experience in the neighborhood.

After two years constantly coming here I had to leave my review; service is always friendly, coffee is good and food is always fresh. The vibe is chill if you want to read a book or work from your computer ? I love luncheonette ?
