All right, so I tried the moussaka let’s just say I wasn’t Impressed the portion was so small. I think I had like four slice of potatoes no kidding the container inside of the other container had holes in it. It tasted like a mix of burnt and not fresh at all frozen type of food. The béchamel sauce was pretty good though but moussaka doesn't traditionally have zucchini which made the whole thing really watery even though I love zucchini normally...

Bread was dry, meat and sauce tasteless
La Maison du Souvlaki is an absolute must-try! We had such a wonderful time at La Maison du Souvlaki as a family! The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and even surprised us with a free dessert, which was such a kind gesture. The restaurant is very clean and has a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. We truly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to eat with loved ones!

Just ordered for the first time. Used fries as filler in the souvlaki, minimal chicken. Sauce had no taste.

My wife just visited with her mother and it’s literally the worst Pita they have ever had they put french fries inside the Pita a very small piece of tomato and no tzatziki. The pita bread was stale and soaked with grease. I had a similar experience last year. The chicken is like tough and chewy. Smell and tasted like burnt feathers. I believe that the chicken was from an elderly egg laying hen that passed away unexpectedly in her sleep.. really the worst Pita experience ever.

Not a great experience at all.
Bad customer services and the food was very average. I wouldn't recommend.

I used to order from this restaurant often, but after my recent visit, I won’t be coming back. The customer service was shockingly bad. I ordered a plain chicken pita. Just chicken and cucumber, nothing else. The cashier immediately responded, “We don’t do cucumbers.” When I asked if they didn’t have any or just couldn’t add them, she told me, “My boss says cucumbers are too expensive.” I ended up paying a $2 charge just to get a bit of cucumber on my pita, even though a fully dressed pita (which includes tzatziki) is what I’m paying for and took none of it. Then, when my husband got his 4$ change, the cashier gave him all quarters instead of toonies. When he asked why, she bluntly said she needed to get rid of her quarters. On top of that, when I bought a can of Coke and asked for a plastic cup, I was told they don’t have any.
The attitude and service were unpleasant, unprofessional, and frustrating. I honestly don’t understand how this place is still in business with employees like this. Definitely not returning.

i paid she gave 4$ in quarter and told she had to get rid of them so made it my problem. All around horrible experience
I live in NDG and when this place opened, it was great. I use to go there all the time. The quality of food was good and the price was great. I haven't gone in about 6 months and decided to go today. I think they changed owners, the portion size was poor to say the least. I got calamari and a souvlaki pita.
Where do I begin.. the calamari was like rubber and I got 6 small pieces. You use to get tons of fries, now I got about a half a cup's worth. The Greek salad was 90% onions and green peppers. The souvlaki seemed big only to see they stuffed it with French fries! I've eaten here many times and even the salad wasn't anything like it use to be. I won't be returning.

Horrible and a total rip-off. The amount they put in the pita was pitiful, and everything tasted stale and bland. Maybe just the pita is worth it if you want something cheap and don’t mind the taste/size reflecting it, but the trio which doubles the prices for the tiniest serving of salad or fries is absolutely not worth it. Skip.

Attention. The online ordering system on their website does not work for the Monkland Street restaurant. The site lets you place the order and pay, but then the restaurant calls to tell you that they can't fulfill the order, that the franchiser won't send them the money and that it's not their problem. This borders on fraud. I will have to contact my bank to cancel the transaction.

Unfortunately the quality has gone completely downhill. I used to come here all the time and the portions were large and the food used to be absolutely delicious. I went in yesterday and the gyro that I took home was mediocre at best. The portion was much smaller and the quality was just not there. It is really unfortunate because this little spot used to be fantastic. I really hope the current Administration takes the feedback from the phone calls and the reviews and makes adjustments back to where it was previously.

This restaurant is not authentic greek food.
It’s not 5$ souvlaki advertised on social media. They raised the prices, you will see in person. And they will only give 10 calamari pieces for fried calamari order. They said what influencers share on social media for the restaurant was to get people to come so they increased the servings for their content. Therefore no consistency for what you see what you will get.
