Delivery order. Lamb in pita was dry and chewy, he threw out half. With the shrimp platter I had ordered tzatziki sauce which was not sent, and asked the greek salad to have no tomatoes. Half the salad was tomatoes, the note completely was ignored. The shrimp was rubbery and inedible. Wasted almost 70 dollars (tipped driver... he was fast and polite) and my spouse is making eggs so we can have a full stomach. Never again. Horrible exp
erience.

Service was good,
The souvlaki was tasty however what I disapprove is the non-use of gloves, especially after touching coins and money from clients.

Let’s keep it simple: you pay for food and restaurants they prepare them. If you can’t do this properly you have an issue as a restaurant.
Fast forward to today. I order a sandwich for my wife. They tell me it’s the “best sandwich in town”. We’ll see. One employee charges me, and tells me to sit outside. I pay, and sit outside. Fifteen minutes pass and there is still no sandwich - a simple chicken gyro. It’s not rocket science, right?
I go inside and kindly ask if my sandwich has been prepared - two employees ask me, “have you placed an order?” The employee that took my order seemed to left the restaurant after I paid and didn’t seem to come back. Maybe things were lost in translation. Maybe it’s me. Maybe it’s Monkland. Or maybe this place has terrible customer service. But at the end of the day, all I ordered was a sandwich and somehow that got screwed up in a way I find in hindsight as being downright, impressive almost? In a sea of other restaurants, consumers work hard for their money. We expect a bare minimum of service. Things are hard for people right now. Do better.
I’m only giving two stars for service because the employees that realized they hadn’t made my sandwich after the fact made it quickly.
It’s just a sandwich - an eight letter word for 200$ Alex. Trivia was what it felt like almost. What’s the point of paying for food when it’s this challenging? Important note in closing - I was the only customer in the entire store.

Had a souvlaki where the meat was dry, and the tzatziki was not that flavourful. Though there were enough onions and tomatoes; I was not to expecting the addition of French fries, which weren't that great in the souvlaki. Don't think I'll be going there again.

All right, so I tried the moussaka let’s just say I wasn’t Impressed the portion was so small. I think I had like four slice of potatoes no kidding the container inside of the other container had holes in it. It tasted like a mix of burnt and not fresh at all frozen type of food. The béchamel sauce was pretty good though but moussaka doesn't traditionally have zucchini which made the whole thing really watery even though I love zucchini normally...

Bread was dry, meat and sauce tasteless
La Maison du Souvlaki is an absolute must-try! We had such a wonderful time at La Maison du Souvlaki as a family! The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and even surprised us with a free dessert, which was such a kind gesture. The restaurant is very clean and has a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. We truly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to eat with loved ones!

Just ordered for the first time. Used fries as filler in the souvlaki, minimal chicken. Sauce had no taste.

My wife just visited with her mother and it’s literally the worst Pita they have ever had they put french fries inside the Pita a very small piece of tomato and no tzatziki. The pita bread was stale and soaked with grease. I had a similar experience last year. The chicken is like tough and chewy. Smell and tasted like burnt feathers. I believe that the chicken was from an elderly egg laying hen that passed away unexpectedly in her sleep.. really the worst Pita experience ever.

I used to order from this restaurant often, but after my recent visit, I won’t be coming back. The customer service was shockingly bad. I ordered a plain chicken pita. Just chicken and cucumber, nothing else. The cashier immediately responded, “We don’t do cucumbers.” When I asked if they didn’t have any or just couldn’t add them, she told me, “My boss says cucumbers are too expensive.” I ended up paying a $2 charge just to get a bit of cucumber on my pita, even though a fully dressed pita (which includes tzatziki) is what I’m paying for and took none of it. Then, when my husband got his 4$ change, the cashier gave him all quarters instead of toonies. When he asked why, she bluntly said she needed to get rid of her quarters. On top of that, when I bought a can of Coke and asked for a plastic cup, I was told they don’t have any.
The attitude and service were unpleasant, unprofessional, and frustrating. I honestly don’t understand how this place is still in business with employees like this. Definitely not returning.

i paid she gave 4$ in quarter and told she had to get rid of them so made it my problem. All around horrible experience
I live in NDG and when this place opened, it was great. I use to go there all the time. The quality of food was good and the price was great. I haven't gone in about 6 months and decided to go today. I think they changed owners, the portion size was poor to say the least. I got calamari and a souvlaki pita.
Where do I begin.. the calamari was like rubber and I got 6 small pieces. You use to get tons of fries, now I got about a half a cup's worth. The Greek salad was 90% onions and green peppers. The souvlaki seemed big only to see they stuffed it with French fries! I've eaten here many times and even the salad wasn't anything like it use to be. I won't be returning.

Horrible and a total rip-off. The amount they put in the pita was pitiful, and everything tasted stale and bland. Maybe just the pita is worth it if you want something cheap and don’t mind the taste/size reflecting it, but the trio which doubles the prices for the tiniest serving of salad or fries is absolutely not worth it. Skip.
