Once again, La Maison Verte proved to be one of the top fine dining venues in the West Island. Great food, great service, and easy parking. That said, there were a couple of glitches. First, my wife's Arctic Char was seriously over cooked. Unfortunately, she only told me on our way home. La Maison Verte is one of my favorite restaurants. The staff is wonderful, attentive, and highly professional. The soup of the day, as well as their onion soup, is consistently delicious. Between courses, they serve a refreshing sorbet. When the main course arrives, it smells and looks exceptional, and it never disappoints. La Maison Verte offers a wide variety of seafood, meats, and other dishes. Overall, it is an excellent restaurant, suitable for any occasion.
It had been 25 years since dining at this wonderful place. My wife and I loved the varied menu and local product. The artic char was moist and the charcuterie plate for two was delicious. The best dining experience on the West Island which retains personalized service and a real menu to explore. A second generation pearl!
