This bakery is amazing!! Everything is always delicious and the staff is all so friendly. I come here almost every week and look forward to it every time :) the autumn muffin, focaccia, and the toasted grain bread are all personal favourites, but you really can’t go wrong with anything!
The quality of the bread is incredibly excellent and fresh, while the value for money is hard to find anywhere else. In particular, they really make bread making an art at La Meunerie Urbaine, from baguettes and sourdough loaves to some of the cheesecakes. Personally, I ordered the "daily" and the "Azteque" every week. Every time I ate their slice of sourdough bread, I found myself savoring every bite. The pastries were delicious too. La Meunerie has tasty breads for the most part, although you must either refrigerate them or freeze them to delay the mold. I found that refrigeration has worked well. A few weeks ago, a customer next to me suggested the Smouchie cookie and at $2.20 + tax, it is an excellent price for a brownie/cookie shaped treat, so moist and delicious. But unfortunately, the Smouchie I bought last week was dry and hard and although there was no difficulty exchanging it, the replacement was...
