My Opinion

Came in box that don't seem sanitary, and shorted 1/2 a dozen from order. Not worth the 15$ to come back as not certain of cleanliness, should have trusted the reviews. At least the food was good.

Their egg tarts are delicious! It's more delicious than the one in T&T, and it's very popular. It's sold out when I go to Wan Lat.

everything looks so yummy in this place, it is a treat for all your senses... I stopped to grab a cup of tea and it was impossible to get what I was looking for, despite the people serving me were very nice, it was very difficult to communicate with them. I understand the language barrier, it is just sad that I couldn't get more information on their products and what they were made of... other than that I left with a succulent Tea with honey and ginger, which made made day.

Delicious red bean, coconut, and cocktail buns! I also custom-order red bean pastries (without the egg in the center), and they're fantastic. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, in my experience.

Cashier is so rude. No purchasing no change. As chinese, I’m so ashamed of her. I used to coming here 1-2 times per month when I do my grocery and won’t come again!!!

This bakery is a gem. The buns are big and tasty! The price is very reasonable. No need to go downtown!

Not sure why this place is poorly rated. To me it’s honestly a gem. I really liked the taro bun and the donut fried bun, they use fresh taro and it tastes very real, better and cheaper than coco and harmonieThe only place in montreal that has survived inflation: buns are 3 for 5$

This is my favourite place for bubble tea, however today my experience was awful! I was just letting the lady know that there are bags on the table where I was about to sit at, she rudely tells me I can’t sit there. Then I asked if I can sit at other tables perhaps? She continues telling me I’m not allowed to dine in. I still ended up buying egg tarts and bubble tea and Sitting at the bench in between the double doors where people enter and exit. It was definitely not comfortable! Halfway sipping through my bubble tea, that lady comes out and tells us for the third time that we are not allowed to dine in. I kindly questioned her why not? I normally dine in here with no problems. She rudely tells me how the chairs are too low for me which is completely BS! Imagine! You would expect the bakery to be more lively, considering the fact that it was the weekend. Based on one of the other reviews on here, that’s probably the same lady who works on Saturdays. Today is Sunday. Additionally, The place was not sanitary during covid, considering it’s a Chinese bakery. The pastries and baked goods were exposed in the air, which caused a lot of hesitations for the consumers to treat themselves. ? not going back anytime soon! Peace out.

This used to be my go to bubble tea shop when I came visit the Asian super markets nearby. But last time I went, my drink tasted like utter mold. It was so disgusting and the bubbles were some really squished and tasted odd or like super hard like a freaking rock. The pastries prices have skyrocketed as well which is understandable but come on, 4.5$ for a simple bun? I’ll just go get it from the market next door for half the price.Anyways unfortunate as I’ve been a customer for over 4 years now …

Actually, it is exceptional to see a Hong Kong style bakery running alone, nor as a part of an Asian grocery store. In Montreal west island, this is like a treasure found for those who enjoyed HK style buns, cakes and ancient wedding cake lotus seed type pastries. It is wonderful to see a little shop turning out so many different products on a daily basis, fresh from the oven. It was an amazing site to see the Fried egg sugary dough, naked name Shakespeare (沙翁),near the displace window. The Curry Beef bun is exceptional. It worth a special visit just for that. Of course, there are Winter Melon Cake too, naked name the Wife Cake (老婆餅). It needs a lot of devotion and love to run a place like this, making customers feel like king and queen while visiting. Of course, no need to drive 20 km more to find similar things in Chinatown. West islanders and people living in Laval is fortunate.
