An exceptional culinary experience, one of the very best restaurants in Montreal. The flavors are beautiful, well-defined, and each element of the dish is recognizable, which is not always the case in other restaurants. This is surely due to the chef's talent. It's the ideal place to invite a special person. If the music were a little less loud, it would be perfect.
Each course continued to impress throught the meal. Service was great and because we were seated to the rear, we had a great view of the kitchen. Chef Cohen was kind enough to engage us in conversation about his menu.
Very fun, casual, laid back lunch. Elevated yet approachable. The food is excellent. Some of the best fries I have had in the city. The pavlova was perfectly airy with a satisfying crack. The service is easygoing with a light touch. If you want to be doted on very carefully this might not be the spot.

Small place, but EVERYTHING was amazing. We had what felt like half the menu, and it was all made incredibly well. It was all fresh too. Our server was great as well!

If you’re in Montreal you have to try Larry’s. So good we went twice!! Incredible scrambled eggs, bread & jam is a must, coffee was awesome. Service is great too, and gratuity is included in prices so you don’t have to stress about tipping. I wish all restaurants did this!!
Went with my family for dinner here. Small dishes but very flavourful. Great meats and veggie dishes. Can’t go wrong with a spot like this. Pretty casual

Ridiculously overpriced. 30$ for a hamburger with bacon and cheese. If you want fries, more... Patty was too small for the bread it was served in. 10$ average fries with store bought mayo. This is shameful.
An english muffin with an egg and meat 16$.
Great staff tho.
Highest quality and innovative food, with great service, relaxed environment in cool location. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

love this place! the food is incredible & so fresh. I love that they pay their staff a living wage -- some people in these reviews seem to think a tip is automatically included on the bill, but that's not how it works. they just price the food slightly higher so they can pay their staff properly & I think that's awesome :)
the bartender with the curly black hair & bangs is my favourite. she's always so warm and makes us feel so welcome.

So good, a Montreal classic. Kinda expensive for the portion but happy that they pay their staff a livable wage and don’t participate in tipping!

After reading the reviews we were excited to try the food. We got the mushrooms, the burger and the cold cut sandwich. Unfortunately the food was very greasy, didn’t taste good and in general was so below average that we couldn’t even finish it. We spent more than $100 for no reason. Not sure how the reviews speak so highly of the food, but for someone who knows what good food is, I don’t recommend this place. The drinks were ok and the service was fine too.
