Came in without a reservation and the owner was able to seat us because it was only my wife and I. He makes just enough food to cover the reservations but did accommodate us and I’m so glad he did. Best brisket I’ve ever had and the sides were perfect. I highly recommend and we will be back!

We ordered the sharing platter for three people — two beef portions and one pork rib. The portions were huge! I’m someone with a really big appetite, but I couldn’t even finish it.
The flavors were absolutely unforgettable. The smoky charcoal aroma combined with the rich, juicy meat was just incredible. Every bite was packed with flavor and left a lasting impression.
This is truly authentic BBQ, both in taste and in portion size. It’s a great place to come with friends or family, and one that I would happily return to. Highly recommended if you’re looking for delicious, hearty barbecue in Montréal!

Should be up to the standard if they charge that much for little food and service (some staff were attentive). We got wrong orders and our waiting staff did not even come to ask if things were okay. Seasoning wasn't good either, too salty for the beef. You can find other grill places in town for better experience and less $
Apparently it’s normal for them to close 2+ hours before their posted closing time!! I tried to go try the food but was told no even though they had open tables, their website said they were open, and they had open signs up and on. Gladly took my business somewhere else that followed their operating hours!

I had a reservation for Sunday, July 20th, 2025 (3pm–5pm), and was genuinely impressed when someone from the restaurant personally called my cell to cancel in advance due to a family obligation. That level of courtesy and communication is rare these days.
It’s clear that Lattuca Barbecue cares not only about the food they serve but also about the people they serve it to. I truly appreciated the heads-up and the respectful way it was handled.
I’m really looking forward to finally visiting and trying their famous brisket. I've heard nothing but great things! If their customer service is any indication, I’m sure the food will be just as incredible.
