If you love or want to try great BBQ, this is the place.
Situated in a very pretty part of the old port.
My only issue is, we ordered the group plate, the food was delicious however it would have been nice to have more variety, we had lots of beef, but not much chicken.
We had a layover in Quebec, came here during a late night walk and it convinced we need to come back to this city. Meat was amazing, drinks were potent and service was wonderful. ❤️

Went today for my birthday and the service was great, offered me two shots of rum. I took the brisket platter with two sides. First customers in the door so the meat was as fresh as possible. Brisket alone deserve the 5 stars, the sides are only there to fill the plate though, the beans and mac and cheese were not to my taste. But lets be real, I was only there for the meat and I was not disappointed.

We went to Lattuca with 5 of my boys and it was so amazing. There were 3 meats included in our order: beef ribs, pork ribs, briskets, beans, mac n cheese, and coleslaw for 34$. It is very delicious food. Definitely, I'll be back .
Wow - I'm from Alberta and this place blows almost everything at home away. The owner of this place really cares about his craft. If you're looking for legit BBQ in Montreal, this is the place to visit. Incredible service from the moment we sat down, through the entire time we dined - wish I could give it more stars.

Lattuca serves legit BBQ. My brisket and beef rib were smoked to perfection, and the perfect consistency. I have not had BBQ this good outside of the southeast U.S., these folks don’t play.
If you’re looking for Montreal style brisket there are a million places in town for that. Do not come here looking for that. Come here for slow and low, smoked, real BBQ.

The food is ok, nothing special, and certainly not the best in the world. The service was terrible: they don't have a menu, the waitress was vague about prices, and because of that it cost us double. There are really better and especially cheaper places in Montreal, don't come here

While it's great to boast about being a World Champion of Brisket, there is a difference in being experts in competitions (food for few) vs restaurants (food for masses) and this restaurant doesn't seem to have the same spark it used to. The pulled pork was overdone to the point of being mush. The chicken was tender but the flavor didn't hit the mark. The brisket had a great texture but was on the salty side. Portion sizes are not in line with the price but you are in the tourist side of the island and you're paying for an "experience". I was disappointed that the drinks weren't homemade and watched our waitress pour our lemonade from a premade store bottle. The positive to the evening was our waitress who was delightful, friendly and quick. This restaurant has what it takes to up its game again, and I wish it continued success.
