Horrible service!! Reserved for 2 at 6pm, arrived at 5:58, only to receive our food after an hour and a half, when tables who arrived after us received their order around 7pm. We had to call the waitress twice, and obviously they completely forgot our order.
Beef ribs were burnt and super salty on the outside, but bland to no taste in the inside. Brisket was okay, tender and at least evenly salty, but that’s it, no other flavor. The only flavorful thing was the mac and cheese.
Also, during our entire visit, our cup didn’t get refilled not even once, I was so thirsty at the end that I started eating ice :)
Not worth the visit.
Most overcooked brisket of my life(after looking at other reviews I think our batch was just overcooked but they still sent it) and the worst long island iced tea I've ever had while being the same price as most 'prenium' bars in mtl. Also had a 1 hour wait after being seated and received our food last even thought we arrived first with a reservation. What a disaster really.
The porc ribs were okay but not worth at all the 1 hour wait and all of the rest.
Some of the best bbq I've had outside Texas!
The owner is very rude and unprofessional, I did visit more than 40 countries in my live and lived in 3 countries but never ever see someone very rude with the costumers
The brisket here is absolutely incredible super tender, juicy, and it just melts in your mouth. Honestly, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I rated it 4 stars, but it really leans closer to a 4.5 when you factor in the overall quality of the food.
The only downside was the wait time. We had to wait over an hour for our food, which was a bit tough, especially since it was already late in the evening. It definitely took away from the experience a little.
That being said, the food is 100% worth trying. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the portion sizes and the flavor, it’s still a solid value.
If you're not in a rush and want to treat yourself to a really flavorful, well-prepared meal, I’d definitely recommend this place. Just make sure to plan ahead — a reservation is a good idea — and you’ll be glad you gave it a shot.
An absolute must visit for any BBQ lover. John and his team were entertaining, attentive and fun! What a special evening. Thank you!
We are visiting from Vancouver but have sampled BBQ all across the US. This place is very special and the BBQ is some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Please don’t miss out.
I made a reservation for 10 people at 9:30 PM, and it was accepted without issue. One minute later—at 9:31 PM—the owner, John Lattuca, called me in a panic, claiming we were “late” and that the kitchen was closing soon. He strongly urged me to cancel the reservation, even though we were already on our way and well within the time it had been accepted.
His tone was rude and frantic, saying he would get in trouble for having guests past 11 PM, which left us confused—why accept a 9:30 reservation if that was a problem? Rather than owning the mistake or communicating calmly, he tried to pressure me into cancelling and seemed annoyed when I refused.
This kind of behavior is unprofessional and off-putting. If a restaurant can’t accommodate guests at a certain time, it should not allow bookings during that window. The attitude we received was completely unwarranted and made what should have been a fun night out feel unnecessarily stressful.
Come here, just do it. Fantastic quality meat, friendly pro staff too.

Great service, amazing food and lots of it..
If you love or want to try great BBQ, this is the place.
Situated in a very pretty part of the old port.
My only issue is, we ordered the group plate, the food was delicious however it would have been nice to have more variety, we had lots of beef, but not much chicken.

We had a layover in Quebec, came here during a late night walk and it convinced we need to come back to this city. Meat was amazing, drinks were potent and service was wonderful. ❤️

Went today for my birthday and the service was great, offered me two shots of rum. I took the brisket platter with two sides. First customers in the door so the meat was as fresh as possible. Brisket alone deserve the 5 stars, the sides are only there to fill the plate though, the beans and mac and cheese were not to my taste. But lets be real, I was only there for the meat and I was not disappointed.

We went to Lattuca with 5 of my boys and it was so amazing. There were 3 meats included in our order: beef ribs, pork ribs, briskets, beans, mac n cheese, and coleslaw for 34$. It is very delicious food. Definitely, I'll be back .

Wow - I'm from Alberta and this place blows almost everything at home away. The owner of this place really cares about his craft. If you're looking for legit BBQ in Montreal, this is the place to visit. Incredible service from the moment we sat down, through the entire time we dined - wish I could give it more stars.
