I love visiting Montreal for all the wonderful restaurants it has to offer, but my favorite, and the one I always return to, is Le 409 in Old Montreal. Just the fun, eclectic décor is worth coming for, but the food and service is what will bring you back again and again. Some of the best Indian food I've had. I just love this place!

They have tons of vegetarian options, and any meat dishes were offered in fish, lamb or chicken!
The butter chicken- Was smooth, spiced perfectly and offered a good amount of protein for the price. I personally like a little bit more spice, but was good for the others at my table who couldn’t handle spice! A “died down” version of butter chicken...

Came here for a late dinner with friends and right when we walked through the doors I was in awe of the atmosphere, cozy yet classy. The setup of the restaurant is really welcoming and the service was incredible too. Our waitress Emilie was charismatic and her service was amazing, helped us decide what we wanted. She recommended the buttered chicken poutine and it was SO GOOD ! Definitely coming back soon for another poutine and pitcher of sangria.
