This was a restaurant in a hotel. I never think of good restaurants being in a hotel, but Montreal has a number of exceptional ones, this being one of them. French olfood oriented menu with just the right sized serving portion. Very good wine list with a very attentive sommelier. We had a table that overlooked the street and the restaurant was relatively quiet so that you could easily converse across the table.
My appetizer (filet tartare), entree (Mushroom ravioli with parmesan cream sauce) and desert (corn pastry with blueberry compote) were delicious and beautifully presented. Service was best we experienced in Montreal. We will return!
Quality service and quality food, would definitely go back. The lobster pain perdu is a must have!!! Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars for food is that my beef was overcooked but they quickly replaced it.
