I can't believe the best café in all of Montreal is just down the street from where I live. I spent my summer going around, trying lattés at every café imaginable. (It was a fun summer!) Magda is hands down my favorite! So happy to have you in the neighborhood!
Huge crush on this Lasalian family café that I've been wanting to try since the summer in good company! The atmosphere is warm, small plants on each table, a welcoming kitchen and counter, outstanding staff, choice music and above all, a tasty brunch that is gentle on the taste buds! This is a terrific spot for locals (worth a little trip out of next-door Verdun and off Wellington), as well as for any local or tourist who wants to take a bike or car ride along the St. Lawrence from Verdun to Lachine and have a perfect mid-way brunch or lunch just one block up from there with ample free car and bike parking. The atmosphere is great for families, workers and everyone else. A place where my family (including two crazy kids) feels welcome, which is hard to come...
