I don’t like posting bad reviews especially for independent spots but there are other places way more deserving of your business in my opinion. Game masters and bartender was nice that’s what gives it 2 stars instead of 1. Vibes are bad. The management and wait staff was rude. The games are nothing special, they don’t have many popular modern board games. The lighting is dim and drab. I ordered food and my friend ordered a drink and we both paid the fee to play games. After like an hour and a half they told me I need to buy something else if I wanted to play another game because it’s how they stay in business. If you're going to force people to buy more food to stay for the games they already paid for why not just increase the cover and not have to worry about it? For a better experience go to Randolph’s for better drinks and service and upbeat vibes or go to café Yvonne for a cozy chill spot. Both are nearby this place and a way better time based on my experience

Super good service!! The employees are super nice and know the games really well and they will offer you new games as much as you want! You lose track of time and you can spend the whole evening there, that's exactly what I like about a bar

It turned out to be a pub quiz night when we entered, the quiz host was very welcoming and helped us catch up to speed! Nice draft selection as well.

Board game cafe. It is such a great vibe. I passed by this place several times and always wondered what it was. The ambiance is really nice. Sorry of like a upscale lounge/ speakeasy vibe. You pay CAD$8.50 and play games. Beers and food here are a bit pricey. I posted the Feneral Tso's Tofu Balls and a bone beer which cost me over CAD$20. They have a large selection of games, but you must wait for the server to bring the game to you. They also explain the rules so you can try new games. Also, it can get quite loud on a popular night.

Spent a few hours there and took the végé burger and 2 sour beers which were excellent . You can play social games there for a minimal fee .
A place with a real atmosphere with incredibly kind staff. Wide variety of games. A small menu (drinks and dishes) but more than sufficient (plus they are renewed regularly). Thanks to Adèle and Artus for this evening.

Beyond the games offering which is great, the staff is very welcoming and the food is very good. I recommend the pizzas which are delicious. The bar also offers many original cocktails, for all tastes! Perfect for an evening with family or friends. A must-have on the board, worth trying without hesitation.
