Le Coq Frit Express

We visited for the first time this morning and found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. We ended up going with the sweet & spicy chicken burger w/fries and honey garlic & soy sauce chicken w/waffles. The quality of food, portion size and customer service was excellent ! Definitely worth the drive over to get my fried chicken fix.

The chicken is solid - much better if you get it spicy. The breading is good, but it ends up being too thick, so there's a layer of fat and soggy breading between the two that never quite cooks right and is left soggy and greasy

I ordered a combo of 4 pieces of fried chicken on Christmas. It was not a busy hour while the staff was impatient when I ordered. The worst thing was that when I open the bag at home, I found there’s no fried chicken insider but a chip and coke!!!!! I made 2 calls and leave my messages, but no response!!!! I have to say the service is really TOO BAD!!!! NEVER GO THERE AND GIVE BACK MY MONEY!!!!

The person obviously doesn't like costumer service or doesn't know how to do. If you don't like your job, there are thousands of options out there. Also didn't give me the sauce for the chicken even if it says included in the combo. Only noticed at home.Very bad service, not going back there

Superb Montreal fried chicken from a little hole in the wall. I believe it's founded in Montreal? Need more branches ASAP. Light, crispy batter and perfectly juicy. Did not leave a greasy aftertaste - just pure eating pleasure. Rivals the best from Church's, Mary's & Popeyes. Trashes KFC. Le Coq Frit is an absolute delight and would recommend (with NO hesitation or reservation) to anyone in Montreal downtown craving fried chicken. Opening hours are great too!!!

The staff members were rude. It's the same guys and they are always rude every time we come here :/ Today, we couldn't have the promotion that they were advertising and the food is less tasty than it was at launch... Staff was also nicer back then. Also, they had items on the menu that I wanted to try and they just told me that they dont do that here.. ? then update ur menu ?

rip off i paid for 10 chicken wings and i just got 5 when i got home. Is not even cheap!!Better check your order. Thought i was gonna eat 10 im just gonna eat 5. Very disappointedNext time ima make my own chicken wings better then yours. ✌️

This place is worst place to eat. I ordered today from ubereats. 4 pièces of chicken and it was smelling really bad. I tried 1 piece but I wasn't able to continue. I ate le coq frit saint Catherine they have much more better quality. Since morning because this food I got food poisoning.Never gonna order again from this store.

Please do save your money. Do not go with Ubereats or DoorDash rating. It does not show the reviews.I have ordered 8 pieces of the fried chicken and fries - it is Terrible, heavily stuffed bread and too salty, no taste at all. Very importantly there is no label, no invoice attached to my order, there is no info on food whether its chicken or something else.Considering a higher price tag I paid - I just wanted to eat it regardles however I just couldn't dumped it.Never ever going to order Le Coq Frit chicken or atleast from this Express outlet they have at 52 A Rue De La Gauchetiere O.AVOID THIS TERRIBLE EXPRESS OUTLET FOOD, NO LABEL, NO INVOICE, TASTELESS CHICKEN, SAVE YOUR MONEY. Simply... THE BEST crispy fried chicken in Montréal... i repeat THE BEST.Try the spicy chicken pieces or the chicken tenders no sides ? it's not actually spicy! But much tastier,Be prepared to wait up to 15-20 minutes... it's worth the wait.

The chicken was good but the staff was extremely rude and made me feel really bad about simply asking for my drinks that I paid for... Ended up not even getting all the drinks I ordered because I was too scared to ask the guy after getting talked to like that. It's sad because the chicken is more than decent and fries are good.
