My fussy eating spouse loved the food amd it was very romantic for our anniversary. The next table of 4 was a tad loud but was Denis Villeneuve, his spouse, sister and an actrice from Dune so it was ok. lol
it was a great birthday supper, Service and food was top notch. Highly recommend and we will be back.
The place is honestly incredible. The food was delicious. When we got there our table wasn’t ready and we did wait 20 minutes with reservations. That said, the manager was incredible during this time frame. He was warm, kind and inviting, bought us drinks while we waited, and is just great conversation.
The staff really is passionate about they are doing, from the wait staff to the kitchen, this was an incredible experience and I will definitely come back often. The prices were also cheaper than I expected for the experience I receive.
This is a must try to anyone wanting one of the best culinary experiences in Montreal

TLDR: Cozy and delicious, but not really for celebrations.
It's a cozy bar/resto combo with great food. Maybe I've been spoiled in Dubai but the value wasn't quite there for me here unfortunately. Nearly 500$ for 4, split appetizers and desserts, 1 main 1 drink each.
Some context: I left a special note to them in advance for my dads 45y retirement celebration; we got an underwhelming sprinkler candle at the end that was over before we could even record, so I had to somewhat awkwardly ask for another. No quick celebration music, no singing, no complimentary drink or treat, just 15 seconds of small sparkles 🤷🏼♂️
I take responsibility, but I fear the experience may not be very memorable for my dad.
Also not the venues fault, but note the road is trashed in front until it eventually gets fixed you'll have to park further and walk on icy/slushy sidewalks for blocks.
Nonetheless thank you to the friendly staff and delicious food, we enjoyed it 🙏🏼

I'd like to prefix this by saying I may be spoiled with dining experiences, nonetheless the food was great, just not outstanding for this price range. The experience and ambiance were cozy but no wow factor either. We went for my dad's retirement after 45y on the workforce. The staff albeit very friendly, came out with one single sprinkler candle at the end of the meal, and it was over before we even had time to take phones out to record... so I had to ask for another one (cheap 15 second ones) In other places I've been, events are celebrated with several exciting sprinkler candles (sometimes dozens distributed in the crowd) and either music or a quick staff song. I had asked in the notes for a little song or something, but.. we just got the 15 second baby sprinkler, no music, a bit underwhelming. The road in front has been ripped out for months. You'll have to walk in the cold on the sketchy icy sidewalk situation for a couple blocks (until repaired). We tried to be reasonable, it cost me nearly 500 with tip for 4 and we could have easily been at 700 if we ate until full and had 2 drinks vs 1. The value just wasn't there for me unfortunately. Still, thank you to the friendly staff and delicious food.
The service was amazing and they really explained the dishes ! I loved the oysters especially the one with jalapeños and red onions!
On y retourna assurement.
Our server Rose was asked to provide us with the ultimate Le Filet experience and we were not disappointed. It made for a very special evening
