Been here several years ago and remembered the place fondly as a beautiful cozy taste breakfast place. It still looks nice but baked goods and prepared sandwiches are beyond stale. They were also selling “older croissants” for 50% off, we did not partake… based on the age of our sandwiches and scone, cannot imagine how old those croissants are.
Stopped in for breakfast after google search. Croissant, large drip coffee, strawberry banana smoothie and bacon egg cheese sandwich. Coffee was ok as was the smoothie. Asked for some jam for the croissant and was charged 1.50CAD, the bacon and egg sandwich which you get from the shelves was heated up but didn’t taste very good, as it had some spicy sauce in it, which my child couldn’t eat. I also asked for some ketchup they didn’t have any and was offered butter instead,...
cute, charming, and remarkably well stocked. deep and interesting selection of hot and cold beverages, alcoholic and non alcoholic, a bunch of great pastries, and even ice creams, plus a bunch of other eclectic and interesting items. perfect spot for a date.
