Makes up garbage dishonest rules about how you should order their food, and then take ur money and dont deliver because they didnt like ur order. They could have cancelled my order but not, that is above them. These scammers will do anything to scrape a few dollars here and there. Not to mention the chicken made my underside bleed the day after. They act like they did their due dilligence. Their menu is designed so that they get an excuse to keep a few extra bucks off of not delivering items. Uber eats even considers their restaurant "ineligible for refunds" due to how many complaints they get for this place.

I went to this restaurant yesterday and I was disappointed as I rarely have been... Firstly when I returned what surprised me was the lack of professionalism on the part of the staff. They didn't take the time to take my order properly and they were talking on the phone while I was talking to them. But it’s far from the worst! When I sat down at my table there was still sauce and crumbs and they didn't bother to clean the table... Not to mention the hygiene of the staff who touched the dirt and then touched my food with their fingers. The drinks were good but I don't recommend their meat at all which is completely fatty, oiled as not possible and parts of the meat still raw. I was so afraid of catching salmonella that it was disgusting. I'm even thinking of filing a complaint for unsanitary conditions because it's the first time I've seen this... I've eaten in so many restaurants but this one is incredibly bad. Plus I see that the owner doesn't take the trouble to read the reviews because he responds with the same message to each negative review... 0/10, I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you want to die of poisoning.

Very good restaurant, especially to discover Ivorian dishes ??! The dishes are very tasty and generous in portion, we are always well served on each visit.There is a nice variety for all tastes, fish, vegetarian dishes and especially grilled meats! Other than the dishes, what we appreciate most is the welcome and the vitality of the team !
There is good music and it is a beautiful environment to learn about Ivorian culture! The waitresses are nice and attentive to our needs!I recommend !Kid-friendliness: Baby chair available.

I discovered Platana during CAN 2024, a little wonder in the heart of Outremont. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is really cordial and warm. The strong points:• the atmosphere (the DJ is excellent, the decoration sober with an Ivorian touch)• cocktails: I am in love with the colabiscus ?• the food: such a diverse menu is rather rare in Montreal, grilled meats with African sauce etc…• the service: I always order in advance and pick up or eat on site. The dishes are good and well seasoned! ?In short, they cheated me, I already spent too much money with them ???
