We really enjoyed our meal- the french onion soup and foie gras were delicious as was the steak and frites. A close tie to Paris. The waiter Tony was attentive and kind, the Manager Omar was excellent and attentive as well. Central location, Parisian atmosphere, not a tourist trap.
We had an amazing time! The service was excellent, the wine was excellent, and the food was absolutely spectacular! Genuinely such an amazing and memorable meal, we can't wait to go back !!!

We went for breakfast. Everything we ate was delicious and the portions were generous. We got the smoked salmon with egg and avocado and the Croque Madame. We also had a basket of fresh baguette and butter. The mimosas were good too. They had more champagne than juice. The cafè americano was good as well. A shoutout to our server who was very attentive and remembered us from a previous visit.

It was our first time in Le Pois Penche The food was very delicious and the portions are generous We have never tried such Cod cakes before. Lamb steak, Tiger s shrimps and especially Pavlova dessert with Passion fruit were outstanding. Many thanks to the chef and our server Fabian to make our experience unforgettable. The dining room is nicely decorated and the staff is pleasant. We highly recommend this restaurant for parties, romantic dinners and business gatherings We will be back.
We celebrated our anniversary with a wonderful meal, exceptional service accompanied by Matt's fabulous singing. There is no other place we would rather be for our anniversary. A special thank you to Marwa for the beautiful flowers. Everyone made our night very memorable , thank you.

Excellent food, and a very nice wine list. We had a lovely early dinner before a concert, and had we not need to leave for the show we would have liked to try some dessert or cocktails too. Alas, we had to settle for a delicious meal with a bottle of wine.

I come here fairly often and usually enjoy the place. However, the last visit wasn't so great. I invited an out of town friend who is heavily pregnant. The food and service were great but as we were about to leave (we already paid) a manager approached our table and told us that he needs our table for the next group of guests in three minutes. They do have a two hours reservation policy, and we must have overstayed our welcome by about 20 minutes, so he was technically right. However, there are nicer and more polite ways to convey the message. My pregnant friend got upset. I might consider coming back there but not soon (if ever). There are lots of nice places in Montreal which will happily take my money.

My third time here and it did not disappoint. Great service from Thibeault and delicious food for lunch. Well-located in downtown Montreal and close to Peel metro - nice bright place and tables not too close together (which is unusual for Montreal). We will be going back very soon.
Amazing restaurant with classic French dishes. Guillaume was our server and was professional and fun at the same time. The Bouillabaisse was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!
Absolutely excellent! Food was outstanding - honestly in the top restaurants-food experiences when dining out we've ever had, and we've dined in Michelin restaurants around the world. Surprising to us after dining here that this restaurant doesn't yet have one. Surely only a matter of time. We had the grilled octopus, oysters, duck, and bouillabaisse - all fantastic. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Le Pois Penche' aided tremendously by our server Marwa for our anniversary dinner. From the moment we entered and were seated we were treated to a first class experience. I should also add that the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing allowing for easy conversation. Highly recommend, very glad to have found this restaurant while in Montreal.

Overall it's a not too bad restaurant, perhaps we're there at their peak, the noise level is hight. The server is friendly, he's been busy to take care of many tables.
