Every year after the auto show, we usually try a new restaurant. This time Uptown was a disaster. For dinner at $65, it’s a real ripoff. Bad service, food probably reheated in the microwave so a bit chewy, nice music but no atmosphere for a Saturday night. Also, there was GST on the bill when it shouldn't be there. Maybe we had a bad day but we would have been fine without it.

We were welcomed by the great jungle-themed decor, which added a lively and immersive touch to our dining experience. The ambiance perfectly complemented the rich flavors of the food we were about to enjoy.
Each dish was infused with great spices that brought out the best in every ingredient. The lamb was particularly memorable—so well-marinated that it was bone-sucking good!
We also enjoyed some lovely, creative, and refreshing cocktails and mocktails. Each drink was thoughtfully crafted.
As an added bonus, we learned that they host tam-tam shows and face painting on weekends, making it a fantastic spot to enjoy a lively atmosphere while savoring delicious food

Honnêtement nous étions toutes les trois très déçu tous les plats était brûlé. Le mouton brûle trop salé, le bœuf brûlé sans goût, le poulet brûlé trop sec. Seule le mocktail signature du serveur était bon je n'y retournerai j'aimais l'ambiance était bien avec l'activité Tam Tam-tam La sauce foufou était bonne. Étant toutes les trois d'origines africaines je connaissais la plupart des plats mais je n'ai jamais aussi mal mangé dans un restaurant africain je suis vraiment déçu. Sur Instagram ça donnait vraiment envie et il y avait beaucoup plus de plats comme les crevettes ou les brochettes. Pour notre part le serveur ne nous a présenté que trois plat mouton poulet bœuf et foufou. JE NE REVIENDRAIT PAS
