We were doing a walking pub crawl, when we stopped here. The bartender was very friendly, prompt service. We didn't eat but the menu was standard pub fare.

If I could rate it lower, I would. We received a VERY, VERY bad reception. The waitress was rude, the service was lousy, not a word of politeness, and things were thrown at us. Having lived in Ireland, I've never received such bad treatment in my life. The woman must have been the owner, that's why she allowed herself to speak to us like that, to laugh in our faces.
You speak ENGLISH, whereas in Quebec it's the law to speak FRENCH. It's an Irish pub, fine, but do they speak English to you in a burger restaurant?
Super expensive and not very good, move on ;) Mini wings the size of a fingertip and the half-filled fries too (incidentally, the waitress forgot them and brought them back after we asked for them again!)
Also, watch when your glass is empty, drink slowly if you come anyway…
There are lots of pubs and bars in Montreal!!
PS: It's CASH ONLY and they like to point this out after you've placed your order, and they huff and puff when you say you have to go to the bank to withdraw it :)

The atmosphere was lively and festive.
For food, we ordered the Walsh Burger, and it was glorious—juicy, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving.
The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive

I really enjoyed this pub! We went on a Friday night while we were waiting for our show nearby. The old-school vibes were right on point. We got a few pints and a few shots. Along with some apps. All was great, and the price wasn't pricey. The place is also quite big. I'm willing to bet this place pops off during Saint-Patrick's Day, no doubt. All to say, keep it up; I'll pop by during Saint-P's day.

Last night we visited this pub based on positive reviews. When the check came the bartender told us they do not take MasterCard or Visa (lie). Presented us with the bill which was in Canadien dollars and demanded we have to pay the same amount as American dollars. No manager to be found, scam artist fleeced us $50 USD. Patrons beware. Woman bartender, 50s, blonde hair, approximately time 6:30pm-7:30pm
I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and coors light beer.
The sandwich was really bad, please don’t order this ever. It was not edible at all and tasted pathetic.

Excellent on all points, except the price. The prices are excessive. Nearly CA$30 including tax just for fish and chips. Good fish, good fries, good service and good atmosphere.

Old fashioned and not too friendly. Pub food, good beer on tap. This is exactly what I want from an Irish pub, never change
