I loved their iced matcha latte. I thought it was unique that they had macadamia nut milk as an option too 🤗 Their chocolate chip cookie and pâté de legumes (savory filled patty) were delicious. Apparently Sundays are their slow days so they didn’t have the blueberry danish available, but said they usually have it on other days. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-20
I’ve never had a vegan danish before, so of course I had to try it! Did not disappoint! They do an excellent matcha also with macadamia or pistachio nut milk. Bright and airy cafe. Nice space for studying.
I had a matcha latte and 2 different matcha cookies. Everything was delicious. They have a really great selection of plant based milk.
I loved all of the food here. What a cool spot
Leaves House provides interesting desserts in a strange, industrial setting. Leaves House is tucked into the lobby of a corporate building. First, the entrance is easy to miss with very little signage to flag your attention. Once inside, they have done an exemplary job transforming the space into a cool, relaxed cafe. Their options (savory and sweet) pop with interest. They push themselves to provide options like blueberry custard tarts and Indian lentil pockets. The blueberry custard tart was fantastic--the custard texture and taste balanced well with the sweetness, tang, and moisture of the blueberries. The lentil pocket was just as impressive, humming with indian spices. There were many other options I deliberated over. Leaves House provides everything you'd want in a cafe: fantastic desserts and a chill atmosphere.
We got the chickpea curry and the Danish and both were excellent, as was the blue smoothie
Such a nice place. I had a Flat White with my favourite oat milk, Oatly. 😋
Stopped in for lunch, and the spicy tofu poke bowl did not disappoint! Huge portion and so yummy. The selection of pastries also looks incredible. I tried the matcha biskitto and it was delicious!
Great spot! Very yummy and delicious
How amazing is it to have a fully vegan cafe?? We’ve tried a couple of things, all were incredible. Especially the danish omg so good. Husbands favourite is the croissant. The coffee is great too!! Updated from previous review on 2024-09-11

Very popular with the uni students, if you get there early enough, you might have the place to yourself. Great treats and coffees.
I always stop there when I'm downtown. Huge variety of food (either you're here for breakfast or lunch), of drinks and vegetable milk... ALL VEGAN ofc It's usually packed with students but I always find some room to seat.
Service was great, i was surprised how long the barista allowed the espresso shots to sit before beginning to steam the milk for our lattes but we weren't in a picky mood and they tasted fine. We took pastries to go. The almond cookie was lovely. I was underwhelmed by the walnut chocolate chip cookie (it tasted merely of flour) and the brownie was just okay. A good spot to grab different kinds of nondairy milks. A good amount of seating in the cafe. Plants for sale looked like they needed some tending.

This is a very charming and spacious cafe with space to study. Great service as well. The only con is that the iced drinks (notably the iced lattes) are always extremely watered down even if asked for less ice. I'm not sure if it's the way its prepared or if they put ice in the cup immediately before the espresso or milk but as soon as I get my iced drink, it doesn't even taste like coffee. If this is due to the organic espresso taste they use, then I guess that would make sense. It's just for a $8 latte, you would expect perfection (especially since 90% of their demographic are students).
Vegan coffee bar and bakery! Friendly service and excellent baked items. Go here if you're in Montreal!
