“I tried the salmon benny, and it was simply delicious! The portion was generous, true to their name. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I loved the place and the food. ?”

I went this morning for brunch, it was my first experience at this restaurant in my neighborhood and WOW what a great discovery!! Best Benedictines I have eaten in my life, fresh and juicy fruits and not to mention the potatoes! I will definitely return and recommend. Price, quality and service 10/10

Worst possible service, we didn’t even make it to one of the empty tables. The place wasn’t very busy but the staff kept ignoring us. Not even a smile or a “we’ll be right with you”… we walked out

Update: mgmt clarified that they did not add the charge was not added to the final bill and a misunderstanding. 3 to 5 stars ?

I've been coming here for brunch for a while because of the creative menu. The servers are great and friendly. Although I don't mind paying $20+ for breakfast, I was disappointed that when I wanted to replace my toast with rice (an item thats on the menu), the chef said it would be $4 extra. I assumed that they would be bringing a bowl of rice, but instead I was given a 1/2 cup scoop of rice on the plate. Their food is good but wish they would rethink such a steep charge for a replacement.

Small, friendly, no-frills restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the strawberry/banana and custard waffle. The latte was good. Good portion. On Ste-Catherine Street near Pie-IX, parking meter otherwise finding parking without stickers and free through the work requires patience...

I won't come back here again. It took at least 10 minutes before anyone came to see us and there were 4 tables seated and 2 waiters, almost 20 minutes before I had a filter coffee in front of me, the food arrived even before that. The smoked meat in the omelette wasn't cut, they just dumped big slices in it and my boyfriend's bacon was burnt. But worst of all, was the waiter's reaction when we asked him if the water in our glasses had been boiled, given the boil water advisory in the area following the water main break under the Jacques-Cartier Bridge. Totally carefree, he says that he doesn't know and that it doesn't matter, he's been drinking water since yesterday and he feels good. He doesn't even offer to check with a manager and completely ignores the question. Also worrying for other customers in the restaurant, including certain children. I don't recommend the place.

The restaurant was empty but regardless the food was excellent. Fried fish and beef eye (!). Prices are reasonable. Easy parking on the street. Very good meal.
