Les Impertinentes might just be the sassiest little coffee spot in Montreal. The espresso hit harder than my last breakup, and the croissant was so flaky it could’ve ghosted me afterward. The vibe? Effortlessly cool — like everyone there already has a published poetry book and perfect hair. I came for caffeine, left questioning my life choices in the best way possible. Would 100% go again just to feel mildly inferior and highly caffeinated.

I didn’t enjoy the matcha that I found tasteless and pretty watered down. I really wanted to like this place but I’m disappointed with the matcha. The food menu looks interesting and I can’t comment on the other drinks.

Very cute spot but the iced matcha was so pale it was basically just milk.

Had their pistachio matcha latte and beetroot hummus with feta toast. Both tasted good but the latte was crazy expensive ($9 before tax), so this was definitely something I would only ever get once to try and never again. The texture of the toast was nice but as you can tell by the color it doesn’t look like there’s much beetroot in the hummus at all (I couldn’t taste it, and the grocery store hummus I usually get is much more flavorful). It is, however, a good place to study if that’s what you’re looking for. The music isn’t too loud and they have tables with outlets. But I would probably just save the money and get a simple drink because the one other time I came, I ordered a lavender matcha latte but they forgot about the lavender part, so they just pumped syrup on top of the regular matcha that they originally handed out.

Mathias was fantastic and very knowledgeable on coffee and matcha. Everything tasted incredible. A definite local gem.
i thought the tik tok marketing was great, the matcha looked oh so green and here’s what i got. extremely disappointed, 10$ for a glass of milk.
Very friendly owner who went out of his way to make sure our matcha was to our liking
i LOVE coming here! The staff is awesome and fun! Very baby and family friendly! The new drinks soothes our souls (especially the matcha lavender). YOU ARE DOING GREAT GUYS!!!!!

Favorite! Beautiful quiet place to drink a fresh juice or coffee and eat a toast! ♥️
I felt like a hipster. Very cute place, very demure. Got a Iced coffee, barista made it just for me. Price is reasonable, taste is ok.

We came with a friend on a Sunday afternoon, we found that the juices were expensive for the quantity. When it closed, the person told us “it’s 5 p.m., we’re closing”, that surprised us a lot… There are other ways to do it, I think.
