I went to this restaurant for MTL à Table and it was delicious! The jarret d’agneau was mouth watering ?

Last experience which dates back about 5 years, return this evening for Montreal at the table. For $35, we'll say it was fair. Some dishes, for example, the very successful tomato tartlet, however the salmon tartare really poorly cut, huge pieces, very spicy, served without any taste, really a big disappointment. Soft and moist croutons...dessert ok, nothing more. Note that the glass of wine went very well with the dishes and for a rare time, a real glass of wine and not a quarter of the glass. Very very hot in the room, it was barely bearable. In short, some adjustments would be required but we will come back because it is still a nice place in the neighborhood.

Fortuitous discovery for this restaurant open on a Monday evening!!
We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious “Montréal à Table” menu with a very friendly and warm welcome from our smiling waitress Léa!
Best leg of lamb eaten in a long time and succulent hot brownies-cappuccino!

?It's been several years since my friends and I, friends since high school, now in our sixties, have met at the Estaminet. During our last visits, we noticed that the portions had diminished exponentially!
Last Friday, as part of Montréal à table, apart from the fact that the person responsible for reservations wanted us to leave the table at 7:30 p.m., following our arrival at 5:30 p.m., we all agree that the service, the Food quality and portions met our expectations.
Considering that at 8:00 p.m. dessert had still not been served to us, we were able, fortunately, to continue having a good time with friends until 10:30 p.m. What happiness! Knowing that one of us came from Ste-Marguerite du Lac Masson, we were happy not to have to look for another place to end our evening.
To conclude, I hope that the quality and quantity will remain up to par with the menu you offer as part of Montréal à table!

Disastrous experience. I had booked yesterday for 8 p.m. When we arrived at the restaurant, there were several groups waiting. I was told that I had reserved for the next day but that they would find us a table. 25 minutes later, the person came back saying that there was no reservation in my name and that I had perhaps called to Riviere du loup!! A table behind us had been empty since our arrival despite 3 or 4 groups waiting outside. Finally, we went to Les Cavistes with a superb welcome, impeccable service and delicious food. If you want to try a new restaurant, go ahead. The $35 menu for Montreal at the table is not worth all this trouble!

I discovered this restaurant thanks to MTL à table and I will definitely return. Very good value for money. There are also several gluten-free and/or vegan options which are very appreciated!! There is municipal parking in front of the restaurant, which is also practical (although for a fee).

Kid-friendliness: Children's menu was a big scam. Ham pizza was a slice of ham on an English muffin. At least the brownie was good.

On dirait que la serveuse ne voulait pas nous donner à boire et à manger. Service très médiocre. On aurait dit que c'était plus important pour eux de desservir une table que des clients avaient quittée avant de venir prendre notre commande. Le restaurant n'avait aucun client qui attendait pour s'asseoir à une table. Si ça avait été le cas, j'aurais compris.
