Having been disappointed more than a year ago, I returned this morning with my daughter for brunch. The service was better than last time, but cold coffee, however changed without problem. The dishes were served with fruit that must have been prepared several days ago...the strawberries were dry and brown, the pineapple was rotten (white and black spots), but the orange OK. On the other hand, the eggs Benedict, the goat cheese grilled cheese and the potatoes were good. So still not at the top....really too bad.

Went for dinner on a late Saturday afternoon (~3pm) and I was mostly alone till about 5pm. I would suggest making a reservation beforehand. I had the pumpkin and red pepper soup (delicious), maple smoked salmon bonbons (meh, a tad salty), maple tart (toooo sweet for me) the Trou Normand - a very small sorbet scoop in a splash of vodka served in a shot glass and the highlight of my meal - the Moroccan braised lamb shank. The fall-off bone meat and root vegetables were tender, the accompanying sauce delicious, the dish very filling and just a joy to eat. I highly recommend it!

Fun and inexpensive french bisto-café serving local and accessible fare. Went there for Mtl-à-Table and loved exploring their table-d'hôte options. It was a busy night but service was decent. The food was fresh and somewhat interesting; not too refined, but not just easy plates slapped together haphazardly; they have character! Their drinks were not too tasty tho, otherwise an enjoyable night.

We went to the Estaminet for MTL at the table without looking at the reviews, we should have.They reheat the dishes in the microwave (the soup hot on the outside but cold on the inside) we heard the microwave beep every 2 minutes.The shrimp salsa that comes with 2 very cheap nachosMy fish was 75% RAW (if it wasn't a tartare that I ordered, it's not normal for it to be raw and cold inside)VERY few vegetablesThe brownie also reheated in the microwave and therefore hot and almost liquid.There was no more lamb shank or chomeur pudding at 8 p.m. When it's MTL at the table or another event at least have some stock knowing that the menu is not huge.The service was bad the two waitresses looked lost, don't know how to hold plates, barely know the menu, were talking to each other behind the counter etc.In short, a place to avoid which gives itself the air of a great restaurant when everything was bad. A bistro like that should not participate in MTL à table which advocates gastronomy and not gastroenteritis.Thanks for the food poisoning it was great ❤
