I visited Lilli & Oli with my brother for a morning coffee. I had a double espresso, and he had a hot chocolate with a chocolate croissant. Both were fantastic — the espresso was, by far, the best I’ve had in Montreal, and I’m usually hard to please. The place is cozy, and the service was decent. I’d definitely come back.
Cute little spot, came on a Friday before noon and barely found a seat. They have good matcha and lattes, definitely recommend. However, they were already out of most of their pastries.
Fantastic espresso - clearly they care deeply about the quality of the beans they use, as my shot was expertly prepared and tasted beautiful. Accordingly, I bought a bag of the same beans (for which they also gave me a sample of pour-over coffee) and the espresso tastes just as good at home.
