Appetizers were okay, especially the burrata and beets which was excellent. For mains, we had a halibut, steak, and lobster spaghetti. All were pretty underwhelming, especially the lobster spaghetti which was quite flat for flavor.

Overall excellent. Only small problem was even though booked way ahead and ate at 530, we did feel a bit rushed. Food and service excellent.

Our meal was delicious and exceeded our expectations. I also liked that they were able to make mocktails for my teenaged kids so that they had a more fun beverage than water or soda.

Dined with my husband and daughter, our waiter Elliot was pleasant and our food was good until they brought our daughters chicken - there was a thick black hair stuck to it. Obviously we sent it back but the waiter didn't even apologize he just took the plate and left and they sent a new chicken. I would've at least expected someone to come and say sorry about that but they didn't and they still charged for the chicken (it was only $15 and our bill was over $500 but there was just no effort to show any kind of regret for what happened). Overall - food is fine, nothing amazing, wouldn't return regardless of the hair situation. Just to note, while waiting for our table, we asked a staff member what was the major difference between there and the sister restaurant, Joe Beef, and he basically said the quality was lower here and that in JB they use higher quality cuts of meat etc. so I guess from that statement we shouldn't have expected too much. Can definitely tell that Dave is no longer involved.

Fantastic food and equally fantastic service. We especially enjoyed the foie gras sandwich and the beets with burrata.

Great experience. One of the best beef tartare's I've had. The strip for two was cooked medium-rare to perfection and the sauce was the best steak sauce I have had. Couple glacé for dessert was fresh and the raspberry pie was very good and light. Look forward to going back again. Also, Wills Beer on tap, huge bonus!

I was there for a business meeting and Elliot our waiter was the best ! My clients had a great time and best of all I closed a deal :) always recommend this place to everyone

I've been to Liverpool House many times but this time the food was not great. The steak for 2 was chewy. The lobster spaghetti had meat in it even though I told them the person ordering it was a vegetarian. The chocolate cake was dry and tasted like carob not chocolate. Overall disappointing. The staff was great other than not realizing there was meat in the lobster spaghetti.
