Very clean and welcoming restaurant. They offer big portions and for reasonable prices. I liked the food a lot and the staff members were super welcoming and informative. Highly recommended.
The fried chicken was burnt, refried at least 3 times and had no taste. For people who don't know what carribean food is. This location is in st henri.
J*** Pork Hash with Sunny Side Up Egg ??I can't think of a better hang over cure then this meal right here for breakfast or brunch, wtv u want. It's a hang over meal, a put you into a coma meal, a last meal ever... It's everything and then some. Delicious, flavour packed and such great comfort food! Thx lloydies you rock!
The vegetarian plate is kinda overrated, they substituted meat for beans and cucumbers — I was hoping one would get plantains or more sweet potatoes instead.
Oxtail poutine was terrible was just oxtail shavings from botton of the pan no real meat not even 1 bone super wack n disrespectful to the Caribbean culture to call that oxtail tasted like such bottom a the pan burnt meat im not I'm not exaggerating either
Several impressive things about Lloydies - Very tasty food! I especially liked the rice’n’peas, plantains and coleslaw that came with the j*** pork. The j*** pork was very well seasoned and quite plentiful for one...possibly two people! - Nice packaging for takeout - Good location close to Saint Laurent street, and the bustling St Viateur street The prices seemed a tad expensive but reasonable I guess for the location (the j*** pork plate was $14, patties are $3 each) The service is so-so; could be better
last night was our first time we went to this good restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We had great time with the generous service, with the first-rate food and booze and with the friendly cost. We will definitely visit there in a short time.
Miss you guys at the Crescent location. Come back. Delicious!
They opened a Loydie's next to Concordia! I can get macaroni pie literally whenever I want (I'm either at home or at school 24/7).
Very delicious food. Must visit if you wanna try something original and authentic. Been here many times and i just love it. 5 stars for everything. Staff is really good and service is quick. Great overall experience. Must try if you are new in montreal and looking for something new.

Very solid Caribbean place. Decorations are super fun (peep the Rihanna shrine) and form a nice cohesive aesthetic. The plantains and chicken were cooked very well, and the poutine was nice fusion of Caribbean and Quebecois cuisine. Sorrel drink was super refreshing and had a nice, strong flavour. Would definitely go back.
This spot sure knows how to satisfy their customers. Consistently with a kind mindset. The food is reasonably priced, always flavorful and neat.
Food was amazing just wish they had soup cause we came from far to have a good carribean soup but the plantain poutine was great and so was the j*** chicken
Just ordered the j*** chicken. The plate came with the rice half full. Other than that it was tasty.
Checked out Lloydie's with a few friends from the Caribbean when I visited Montreal for the F1 race and WOW! The food was sooo fresh and tasty. Their J*** Chicken was unreal and rice and peas was spot on! Also, if the weather permits try their outdoor seating during the summer. The owner/chef came over and explained the dishes and even let us try one of the desserts on the house. We were so impressed with the food, drinks and extremely warm vibe of the restaurant. Definitely heading back to Lloydie's the next time we're in Montreal!
