They did not have alot of vegetarian/vegan options, however the huge salad was at peak freshness with a very nice balsamic dressing. The hummus plate was super tasty and presented very nicely. The drinks were done very well. Where they earned the 5 starts was service. Kia (I hope I spelled it correctly) was very kind and so attentive. She paid attention to details and really made the dining experience wonderful.

The outdoor restaurant downstairs has been playing loud music. It’s not just background music, it’s DJ stuff with heavy bass and big speakers.
I live nearby and it’s honestly been pretty hard to relax or sleep with the noise.
Not bad, just really not deserving the 4 stars. A plain hotel restaurant.

A brutal restaurant / bar.. breakfast was bland bland bland.. for 25$.. went down for drinks later in the evening and was charged 30$ a drink for old fashions...
Sorry, but what? This is in a at best 3 star hotel and acting bigger than it is.
An ideally located, quiet and very elegant restaurant. The menu is diverse and can delight all tastes. The dishes are plentiful and the service is very friendly!
The choice of beers reflects the diversity of Montreal’s many breweries. A delicious experience!

Lovely breakfast buffet. Very polite hostess. Excellent potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausages. The coffee is very vary good and they give you a thermos at the table. The waitress offered more coffee to go as it was a cold day. Worth dropping in even if you aren't staying at the hotel.

I'm conflicted with this review of L'O. The food was great but the service was really bad. I don't think intentionally, perhaps under staffed or new people but bad service. Did not feel like staff were focused. Waited too long to be seated as staff cleared tables when they could have simply cleared ours first and then focused on others afterwards. We waited nearly 10 minutes to get our order taken and we had to remind our waitress about our drinks after seeing others getting theirs. My wife received her food after others received their food who were seated after us. Icing on the cake was my meal came 13 minutes after my wife received hers. Waitress admitted chef made mistake, but I didn't feel like a valued customer. I do hope my experience is an anomaly. Disappointed because the food was really good. Debating if I want to try again.

Very decent meal. On the other hand, at the bar, they don't know how to make mojitos. I looked in vain for the rum. 2 mint leaves and 1 thin slice of lemon!

I’m here on business, and I’ve eaten in many 4-star hotel restaurants. This one, by far has stolen my heart. You would think if you’ve had one breakfast buffet, you’ve had them all. This one is much different. The fare is typical by most standards, but the care and quality of fresh ingredients, including fresh bruschetta for your creamy scrambled eggs was a perfect touch.Montreal is fantastic for promoting local breweries. They also serve their pints with in house, thick cut and seasoned potato chips! I wasn’t starving, so some sides for dinner sounded great. The carpaccio and fried Quebec cheese curds hit the spot.Don’t skip on this place if you’re staying here!
Unfortunately the burger just tasted of char and the creme Brule tasted like sweet scrambled eggs. Disappointing . The fries were fine.
It is a hotel restaurant, so you should not expect fireworks.Still, the food is good, and the staff is very friendly and quite attentive. The wine cellar seems well equipped (although I have not tested it).My brownie was quite fine, although I'd prefer it to be warm, to blend better with ice cream.

I fell badly on the service side, received our dishes with a lot of expectation in addition to having received our drinks after the food. The meat of the burger was very good, but the buns were hard (crusty), served with McDo fries, I just couldn't believe it ($23).Otherwise, nice place, well located, near the Bell Center!
