Updated from previous review on 2025-10-20
We had the Chilli and a salad, both was very nice. Also the rosé cider. I liked the vegan variety of the menu. We were there on a Thursday evening and it was very crowded. We got the food very fast. They gave us maybe 10 more minutes after removing the empty plates, to finish our drinks, before they asked us to pay and leave.
We ordered the curry and the chili, and these were so good that we went there (Place des Arts) to have lunch the next day. For lunch we had the Rosa salad with braised tofu and the poutine. We didn't know what poutine was, but loved this vegan version with mushrooms! Everything was delicious, fresh en beautifully presented. Very (allergy-)friendly staff and atmosphere. When we arrived in Montreal we had the impression that the city was not at all vegan-friendly, but thanks to Lola Rosa we now know better.
Had the curry and Rosa salad with feta and braised tofu. Both were AMAZING and so fresh.
They had a nice menu, so i decided to choose the curry and a carrot cake with a matcha latte. It was really tasty, but for me the carrot cake was one of the highlights. It tasted sooo delicious, highly recommend this cake! The staff was nice and the sitting area was comfortable.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with this restaurant and the lovely server who greeted us so kindly right from the start (afternoon)! She made us feel so pleased to be there, recommending favourites, helping us with directions and just doing so much to make us feel at home. Food was amazing. We had the braised tofu, chickpea fries and sweet potato burger. Topped with a variety of local beers on tap. You need to go to this place while you’re in Montreal!

My husband and I tried two different burgers: one Cajun burger and one on pretzel bread. They were both delicious. We liked that they were completely different because we love sharing our food. Instead of fries, we ordered poutine on the side. The staff were very welcoming.
Love this spot. It's our must-stop every time we’re in Montreal. Everything on the menu is amazing, but the Breakfast Bowl and Cajun Toast deserve a special shout-out. No idea how they make the tofu scramble, but I seriously dream about it!!

Exceptional service, delicious food, and intolerance friendly! It’s quite rare to find nut free options at vegan restaurants and at Lola Rosa there are a ton. Their alcohol free mocktails are also delicious. I had the nachos and they were to die for, also recommend the Cajun style burger.

Couple got seated behind me!! Not a good start after I was told I just needed to stand in line. They did apologize and gave me a table for four! Good recovery. 20 minute wait for outside table, plenty of seating available indoors Very friendly bilingual server. She was very pleasant. Cheese steak, fries spicy mayo Small Cesar salad based on reviews. Unsweetened ice tea Not a Philly cheese steak but a great sandwich. Hearty tasting meet, plenty of cheese and the pretzel till have it a unique take. Would order it again. Plenty of food, in the day of shrinkflation. First time having mayo with my fries since I went wfpb. Got salad to go, so I could have brownie for dessert!! Devoured it. Brownie was moist and flavorful. One of the most popular choices , great combination with the ice cream. Glad I did it! Very pleasant and comfortable eating outdoors. Will have to come back again. Top choice No American Express. Really delicious vegan food (and very nice wine) on a lovely terrace that's perfect for people-watching in a busy, vibrant area of the city. Went there alone and had a truly lovely hanging out for a few hours. Shoutout to my waiter Antonio for the wonderful service!

Service is always phenomenal, such lovely humans and very attentive. Food is delicious, the tartare, lasagna, curry, chickpea fries, and Cajun burger have all been thoroughly enjoyed and the raspberry lemonade is something I think about often.
Love that the menu highlights which items have common allergies so you can easily decide what you can have.
