I'm baffled by the high ratings. Loumi seems like it was made to fit a hype trend that fell off some years ago. The halloumi sandwich on it's own rang me about $16, for a non-meat item with no sides this is high. I really was not won over by the marinated, grilled halloumi cheese as a substitute for a burger patty. It just did not work. The ingredients were good but the idea was just not landing with me. The restaurant is very small with only a few counter seats.
Super fresh, fast friendly service, and great tasting chicken sandwiches! Highly recommend!

Tried the raspberry lemonade at their Jean Tralon booth. It was tasty. Have to come back for the food.

Seriously the best dish Iβve eaten in Montreal! Halloumi sticks lightly fried topped with a drizzle of pomegranate syrup and a drizzle of garlic yogurt sauce . Had this at Jean talon mkt

I went to the Jean Talon Market location. I got the halloumi burger and fries with Zaatar and it was really good. The halloumi was fried and crispy and it was a delicious meal! Also the fries were nice and got a peach and hibiscus lemonade which was also really good.

Gourmet fast food made fresh. The Loumi poutine had the best squeaky halloumi curds, and we couldnβt believe how delicious the fried halloumi sticks and chicken sandwich were. Weβd tried the fried chicken sandwich before but the marinated one was exceptionally yummy. Wait time is about 5 minutes. Sad they were out of cookies though. Love those too.

We bought the fattoush salad and two iced teas. The iced teas were refreshing and the salad had fresh ingredients. However, for a restaurant that is known for halloumi, there was a surprisingly small amount of halloumi. For a $17+tax salad, there were 6 tiny pieces of halloumi, which is a bit disappointing.

Amazing chicken burger, really good, but a bit overpriced nonetheless.

When you specifically ask for no tomato β not once, but multiple times β what do you think you get? Big fat tomato! Zero attention.. frustrating

Very good and fast service! Wish the store was a bit bigger.
$17 for one soggy grilled cheese sandwich? What a rip-off.
