Incredible food, and even better service. Jimmy (the owner) stopped by our table a few times and was incredibly personable. We shared some good conversation and laughs. He suggested the xango (fried cheesecake) for dessert. The xango and all our other food selections far exceeded our expectations. 100% recommend stopping by Macbar, whether you’re a local, or in MTL for a visit. Can’t wait to visit again!

Mykonos and greek salad were with bitter onion.Staff was chatting with themselves and nobody paid attention for the clients.the chef worked without gloves and licked a sausage from his hand while adding sauce to plastic disposable portion cups

Macbar came highly recommended to me once upon a time ago by someone whose opinion I trusted - and the recommendation was definitely on point.If you like mac and cheese, this is a great place to hit up. The atmosphere is so lovely, the mac was just ok (hence 4 stars) but the real shining star is the sangria! These guys make the best sangria I’ve ever had in my life!

Ordered on uber eats, bland macaroni with absolutely no sauce, the on cheese I had in there was the hard layer of baked cheese top, for 20$… Also got the mac and cheese fried bites, not even crispy and taste like microwaved mac and cheese…Not worth your money at all, worst mac and cheese I have had in my life.

We wanted mac and cheese for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we tried the classic one, with a burger each. (Chicken and beef) both meats were juicy and delicious, fries super crispy and the sauce macbar on the side was very tasty as well. Will definitely order again!

Amazing mac and cheese with equally amazing service! So glad we gave it a try. My family and I came to Montreal from the US and we had a great dining experience. In fact, we may need to stop by again before heading home to Pennsylvania!

Service was terrible, especially considering we were the only 2 customers and yet were taken very badly care of. The waitress was clearly not in her element. The food was okay I took a fried mac and cheese burger, it was tasty but fell apart right away. Was difficult to eat. Decent plates for the prices though! The idea was good and mac and cheese is a total fad right now which I love, but not sure how often I’d go again.

I was so happy to learn this place managed to survive the pandemic. A truly wonderful assortment of mac n' cheese along with tasty pizza, grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers and salads. The Cheeseburger mac n' cheese is generous and great for two people. You can also get the mac n'cheese wedges as a side instead. Grilled cheese is a little pricey but completely original tastes. Haven't had the burgers yet but they look fantastic. A wonderful addition to lively rue Ontario and it's other location and they have a pretty good fan base on their Facebook group. Definitely recommend - as do my friends who I shared only some of my mac n' cheese with. Love these people - keep up the great work! Suggestion: time for a good Lobster Mac to be added to the menu!

Ordered through Skip. Food was not to my liking. Missed my salad and the Mac and cheese was not good either. Did give me a credit but after an hour and a half I’m disappointed and still hungry.
