Ilene is so passionate and knowledgeable. I told her I wanted to try Canadian Oysters and she did not disappoint w/ her choices. I had Greenwich P.E.I., St Simon N.B., and Fanny Bay B.C. oysters and they were lovely. They have many sauces and toppings, the Mignonette sauce looked good, and everything is prepared to order; I wanted to enjoy them unadulterated, and they were sublime. They were all medium sized. The ones from Prince Edward Island were subtle with a wonderful mouth feel. The ones from New Brunswick were Briney and clean, my favorites. I'm not sure where Fanny Bay is in British Columbia, but they had a regal minerality with a bright pomme-like finish. They were all exceptional. I also had Moules et Frites Mariniere that I had been looking forward to all week. I passed on wine, though the wine list is terrific. I had a sparkling San Pellegrino, and a neat Casamigos Mezcal. I dined at the bar and Kia & Evelyn made me feel like a regular. The atmosphere is laid-back chic, warm, and perfect alone, as an intimate get together, or enjoyed with friends. You'll remember the experience fondly, as I do.

We went for the MTL à Table with a 3 course meal for 50$ each and it was worth it. Total cost was 160$ with drinks and tips. Stay alert for the Table d'hôte for 40$, the maple octopus and cajun seafood boil was delicious! Strongly recommended. Staff was nice and service was good!

Incredible service, food, and atmosphere.

Highly recommend for anyone. The octopus was the best I’ve ever had, marinated well and tender all the way through.

Worth the money, worth the stop.
