Just had a lovely dinner at Maggie Oakes. Pascal, Emil, and the gentleman who welcomed us were professional and attentive. The food was delicious (Maggie’s cheeseburger and sesame crusted salmon, salad and dessert), and the service from all members of the team was excellent. Would definitely go again when in the area.
Very expensive for what you get and the food was only ok at best. Not at all worth the premium prices, much better options available nearby. The atmosphere was good, not too loud and comfortable environment.
We will recommend this place to all our friends. Rosemonde and Julian were the best, most pleasant servers we have had anywhere and we would come back just to see them. Our steaks, mushrooms, potatoes, and other vegetables, hot tea, and cheesecakes were excellent. We had a table next to the central square and watched the rest of the world go by. We are happy to be here in Canada, by which I mean I am glad that Montreal and Quebec are part of Canada. It has all the good qualities...
