The dumplings are absolutely wonderful! It's a cash only location, so make sure you are aware. They gave an ATM in the front that can help if you forget. The servers were helpful and brought us plenty of water. It was a great experience overall.

Best dumplings in MTL. Get the fried dumplings, make up the little sauce. Been coming here since my McGill days and the quality is still amazing and low priced for a huge amount of food!

Updated review: This business absorbed the reviews from our previous favorite soup dumpling place called "bien maison" which was a solid 5 stars. Today we tried this new place and while the soup dumpling where exellent, the staff gave us attitude when we payed because we gave 15% tip which is supposed to be good. This ruined the experience for us.

New restaurant that we discovered recently. We love food. On the other hand, the last time we went the waiter who is always there took money from us without our knowledge and we are extremely disappointed. I asked for the bill, which he forgot to give me and which I forgot to take BEFORE paying. He gives me the price, $49. I give 15% on this $49 which gives $57. I walked out realizing he never gave me the bill. I go back inside to take it and on the way out I see that he had already tipped 13% without my knowledge on the whole thing (it's also cash only) and that he took advantage of the 15% that I I added on top of its unmentioned 13%. We were extremely disappointed with this behavior and will probably not return there again despite the good food. I'm willing to bet that every time we went and didn't ask for the bill, he took advantage of it that way too.

Good food, but dishonest with invoicing. They have a hidden "TIP" fee of 15% and ask for another TIP on top of that. They are very reluctant to provide an invoice. I was very disappointed to experience this trickery.
Excellent dumpling with a good variety of choices, the hot and sour soup was really very good.

these dumplings are really so tasty!! we had all of ours boiled, we tried beef, pork and lamb, as well as the shrimp dumplings and the siu mai. everything was just so good!! the beef ones especially. the service was fast and the staff was really nice; it is a really good, cozy family-owned dumpling restaurant!! would definitely come backalso, i must say, it is cash only!! but they do have an atm at the front of the restaurant.
